The 'Just let it out' thread eh? Well okay...

CAN ALL OF YOU NOT JUST BEHAVE, ACCEPT THE OPINONS OF OTHERS, OR DEBATE SENSIBLY, STOP TURNING INTO SPOILED BRATS AND INSULTING EACH OTHER, GOING SERIOUSLY OFF TOPIC AND SELFISHLY GETTING EVERY DECENT TOPIC LOCKED?!?

Honestly, it's like why I left BBC 606 all those years ago all over again. Pathetic.

The most sensible post all winter.

Why the heck do people think its ok to litter in this country (uk)?

I notice it everyday on the way home from work, beautiful country lanes all spoiled with peoples crap along the hedge and tree lines. Fag packets, crisp packets, coke bottles, carrier bags.

This morning I walked along a 0.5mile stretch of road with nice houses down one side, and beautiful rolling farmland and hills on the other - and both sides the ditches and trees and hedges were littered with crap that people are too lazy to take home, and just throw out the car. There was even a council supplied bin liner full of empty beer bottles and cans! It just ruins the view and beauty of the place!

Now Im no tree-hugging green-peace activist, not by any stretch of the imagination, but it boils my blood for two reasons - 1) it makes the place look s*** and 2) I f***ing hate lazy people!!! Which I know may sound a bit of hypocricy coming from me, as Im lazy as heck, - but I try not to let my laziness affect other peoples lifes !!!

:banghead:

That is called consideration and is something that is missing from modern society. and most drivers.

I don't mind people that smoke, polluting their lungs. It's their business. But it drives me nuts to see them casually flick their cigarette buds out their car window. F@ckers.

It's your business if you're breathing in their 2nd hand smoke or if you're stuck on a hospital waiting list behind someone who chose to take up smoking in an age when all the health implications are known to everyone.

Smoking pays for the NHS

I'll drink to that one (water of course, alcohol is bad for you)

So Andrew, you're a good subject for this question what do you think about fat, unhealthy Doctors, Nurses, GP's... etc?

Not just modern society at all, if folk have some crap ladling them down, then they'll chuck it anywhere. I don't picture a Victorian waif trotting off politely to a bin, in order to relieve himself of an apple-core, and neither did Charles Dickens.

Enough of the rose tinted specs! Too much of it around. :whip:

It's a bit hypocritical to have someone telling you to live healthy when their tucking into a chip butty whilst smoking 3 fags and downing the Brew.
