Alonso thread. Alonso = Spanish.

Alonso`s not here so English will do nicely :)

Learn Spanish. More people speak it than English anyway. And Alonso would appreciate it as well since he is now "The Man"

That's not true. I'm pretty sure that it's in this order: 1) Chinese (mandarin) 2) English 3) Hindi 4) Spanish

O puede ser que tu lo sepas mejor que yo...

But Massa will compromise Alonso by taking points off him and spinning out of second place. Massa won't win the WDC and unless they give Alonso number one status, he won't either because Ham Boy or Kimi will nick it while Massa is making a nuisance of himself.

The moment it is clear that ALonso is the man that will win the WDC for Ferrari, Massa will be ordered to always yield to Alonso much like Barrichello was to Schumacher. To me it doesn't matter. As long as Ferrari wins, that is all that matters.

Ferrari have announced that both drivers will have equal number one status next year. What a joke! FA should e the clear number one imo, that's the only way to ensure the WDC. As if Massa is going to win it next year...

Couldn't care less. As long as Ferrari wins then I am fine if it is Fernando Alonso.

Shame Kiki .. I dont like you coming down on kimi so hard. after all he may be our inside man at mcheaters.
As far as the Alonso bashers is concerned I guess you right claiming he has a history of causing s*** but in his defense nobody really proved him to be at the center of such controvercies.
If ferrari feels that trouble appear to follow him wherever he goes i am willing to bet Ferrari will have a clause in his contract as deterent. so i'm sure all will be good.

As a first language Spanish has more speakers than English. If you count all the people that speak English as a Second language and add that on then English is higher than Spanish. y lo sé porque soy lingüista.

Well ok but speaking of the time, it is time to go and do stuff in the real world now. Nice chatting and until next time. Ferrari is F1, Alonso is KING and Spanish is GREAT. Hasta luego a todos.................... Ciao.

Ah, but you said "more people speak it than english", not "more people speak it as their first language". So I'm right and you're wrong.:D

So tell me, AKR. If we, hypothetically of course, say that Kimi brings home the titles for McLaren next year, how will you feel about the Alonso-Ferrari pairing? We will assume that the title goes down to the very last round.

Stats taken from the same website you failed to read fully.

Thus, if you add the secondary speaker populations to the primary speaker populations, you get the following (and I believe more accurate) list:
(number of speakers in parentheses)

1. Mandarin Chinese (1.12 billion)
2. English (480 million)
3. Spanish (320 million)

The following is a list of these languages in terms of the number of countries where each is spoken. The number that follows is the total number of countries that use that language (from Weber, 1997):

1. English (115)
2. French (35)
3. Arabic (24)
4. Spanish (20)

Weber compiled the following list of the world's ten most influential languages:
(number of points given in parentheses)

1. English (37)
2. French (23)
3. Spanish (20)

Ironically Spanish seems to fall into 3rd place quite often and has been pushed into 4th in one table. reminds me of Ferrari in this years WCC.
