Have to see the weights but it looks like McLaren are now fast at most circuits.

Weights will be deciding. I think Hamilton is pretty heavy compared to Trulli at least, but I'm scared of Vettel. Lewis was pretty equal to Vettel during Q1 and Q2 and usually he is all out in Q3. Really looking forward to the race, as it promises sunny weather. Right now I wouldn't like a loto, because Lewis is in a great position ;D.

But yeah, first we have to see the weights. I LOVE EARLY RACES. Wake up, smell the coffee and enjoy a great circuit with your favorite driver in top3. (L) :D

I'm pretty sure Vettel has more fuel that Lewis i will be extremely surprised if he doesn't .

At least five drivers have been summoned to appear before the stewards and may face penalties for ignoring yellow flags during Saturday's qualifying session at Suzuka.

Sebastien Buemi scraped his Toro Rosso down the barriers, deposited debris across the exit of the famous Spoon Curve and bringing out yellow flags at the end of the second qualifying session.

However, it was apparent that some drivers - most notably the two Brawns driven by Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello - set competitive sectors through the yellow flag zone.

Fernando Alonso, who did not subsequently make it through to the decisive Q3 phase, said he backed off, and was immediately making his view clear. "I think everybody was improving their times. I backed off.
Other people didn't. We'll see what happens this afternoon," the Spaniard is quoted as saying by the BBC.

It is believed that Alonso and both BMWs, despite Nick Heidfeld lifting his arm as he drove past the yellows, were similarly summoned by the stewards.

That was a bit of a chaoic qualiying session. Lots of crashes and two red flags

Nice pole for Vettel but I'm hoping Hamilton gets him with the KERS button at the start. Hopefully the same will happen to Button so that Barrichello can get a bigger points gap.

3 red flags!

I forgot the last one. Blimey, it really was chaotic

I thought that the two Brawn cars had done fastest sectors while the yellow flags were out, but assumed I was wrong when they began Q3. If they did, that's clearly against the rules and an advantage, not to mention dangerous. If they didn't have enough time to complete a lap then it's their own fault for waiting in the pits too long, everyone else went out early and managed to post a time.

Once again Williams have been let down by the Toyota department, both the engine and Nakajima. Enough is enough, Nakajima has to go and be replaced by Hulkenberg for the final two races. Rosberg admitted he was not good today, he's probably thinking about that Brawn seat for next year. For once Williams manage to build a very good car which also works the tyres well enough and never gives any graining problems but it is still let down by it's drivers and engines.

I hope Timo recovers well, it was a bizzare crash for him. Buemi was appaling today and has shown why he should never have gotten an F1 seat, with him being sent to the Stewards' office I hope he gets all his times taken away and put behind Webber on the grid just to rub it in.

Getting up early to watch that qualifying session gave me a bad headache, so I went back to bed just after Heikki put it in the wall in Q3.

[EDIT]

As expected Vettel is heavier than both Trulli and Captain-Invincible. But Trulli is slightly lighter than Lewis though none of this will really matter if Captain-Invincible KERS them both at the start. The Brawns qualifying was not good.

Why is it that heiki is always a lot heavier than captain invincable ?? mccheaters has been donig it the whole season i think.

Captain-Invincible seems to prefer 2 stop and HK likes longer stints also this way McLaren have both strategies covered this way.
