hey if he is wearing his own helmet then we know the promo is totally BS, for any sponsor would want Kimi's or Felipe's lid in their marketing scheme.

The casual fan probably wouldn't notice.

ill reiterate the sponser WOULD want Kimi's or Felipe's lid in their marketing scheme!

It's not deceitful, nor is it cheating. These kinds of runs were agreed as allowed from day 1, hence the mandatory 100KM limit.

read between the lines would ya

Loophole or not, it's still not illegal or deceitful. If it was deceitful, they wouldn't have put out a bloody press release about it.

Wake up old man, nobody is saying it's not useful for Badoer. The fact is, they're allowed to do it. It's a loophole, but it's still there.

Its cheating and decitful because there abusing the rules.

it might be illigal for the reasons they "STATE" but its certainly illigal for the real reason they are doing it.

Bridgestone's ultra hard promotional tyres will be used.

Every team in this season is allowed to do promotional runs, and it has been agreed from day 1 already.
Certainly, they can choose to throw away the footage after or anything. But they agreed, and other teams can do the same.

No problems there I think.
If other teams don't do it, it is their choice.

This all seems like fair play to me only teams who actually want to do some promotion or are replacing their driver would use it though because I'm sure those ultra hard tyres would give some really useless test data!

According to Nick Heidfeld, they're poo. That's what he used to do his laps of the Nordschliefe and he said they had no grip whatsoever.
