- 14 Mar 13, 22:48#349659Personally I'm really looking forward to this season. The end of a development phase that's been going on since 2009, who is truly focussed and who is only half in it with the true focus on the changes to regs for 2014? Will many take their eye off the ball in the second half when development for the 2014 cars is building a head of steam?
I have a feeling that there will be more than one change in pecking order during the 2013 season as the answers to the above become clear.
Also, just because Red Bull won both titles last year, neither were exactly a walk in the park, everything was truly competitive until around 4 races to go. If they do win again, that doesn't necessarily mean that 2013 will have been a bad season...
Lots of quesions - can Red Bull keep their momentum going? Can McLaren solve their reliability and strategy issues? What will McLaren life be like post Hamilton? What will Hamilton be like post McLaren? Will Mercedes flatter to deceive again? Is the Ferrari as fast as it looks? Will Vettel get off to a good start in 2013? Are Sauber the true dark horses this year? Can Kimi get even closer to challenge for the title? Can Grosjean make it round the first corner without wiping out half the field? Can Maldonado get round the first corner without wiping out half the field? Can Sutil go a season without either playing the piano or assaulting a tyre supremo? etc. etc.
Favourite racing series: F1, Indycar, NASCAR, GP2, F3, Formula E, Trophee Andros, DTM, WTCC, BTCC, World Endurance... etc. etc.
