I asked this earlier, but wasn't Lewis told the same thing in Barcelona? He was penalized there because the FiA can't take the sample from the fuel in the car where it stopped simply because they would have needed to use fuel to get back to parc ferme.

Well shorter while leading great so it maximises your acceleration,not perfect for passing

Long gear not exactly but great for overtaking


btw Vettel was slowest plus he might be put to the back......

btw Vettel was slowest plus he might be put to the back......

That's true, but in case he has a bad start or some mess up in the pits (its McLaren after all) his short gears will make him a sitting duck. We'll see tomorrow I guess.

I don't think Vettel can even afford a reprimand as he's already on 2 and, I think that means 3rd strike on reprimands and doesn't that mean an automatic 10 grid place penalty?

Webber had it last year yet he passed Button in DRS zone till JB repassed him,same with Massa till he used the second to repass but Mark didnt defend

plus Lewis can attack DRS ZONE 2 since he was not touching the rev limit then.

This isn't a driver error, it is a team error. But anyway, I think Vettel would prefer a 10 place penalty than starting last!
