Vettel won the WDC back in Suzuka to be honest. Ferrari and ALonso have just put on a brave face till now, but they looked beaten already after qualifying was over. Painful to lose the WDC after leading it so long but Redbulls development prowess is simply amazing for a 'drinks' team.

Difficult for Alonso in 5th, he needs to win but can't crash out on the first lap.

I hate this sh*t Red Bull dominating everything.

That's the way it goes; I bet there would be no complaining if McLaren were the dominant team!

How could they dominate with Button as a driver?

The biggest story is Vettel on pole and Alonso in fifth; Vettel looks like he will be running away with the lead now he has captured it!

Yeah, it's pretty much over, Ferrari is just not there and the Red Bull dominance is back, even if it were to swing to another team in the western hemisphere races, it's too little too late.

What surprised me most was how difficult it was here to get the car balanced, everyone was struggling with car set up, I wonder what's specific about India and I wonder if Austin will have more of the same since the circuits are similar.

Button outqualified by Lewis yet again. Button did mention something about understeer on the BBC though. :hehe:

McLaren with Button as number 1 is going to become a joke team imo. Button isn't a leader, nor is he fast enough to win another championship, so really, what's the point.

Button should just call it a day now and retire imo.

Funny how Button always has a reason for not being able to pull out the best 1 lap when needed, under pressure in Q3

This time round everything was great in Q1 and Q2, the car was balanced, come Q3 when the big boys are counted, he once again couldnt find the grip and cant work out what happened

Went for a three-lap strategy in Q3 - which was the right thing for me I think - but didn't quite have the same feeling as I had in Q2 with grip. At high speed I had too much understeer in Q3 compared to my Q2 run and a few other things just didn't fit together.

So that went well. :)

Good to see the McLarens so close. Virtually nothing to choose between either of them.

Yep, hope it'll be a good scrap at the front tomorrow - especially with Alonso trying to battle through the McLarens to get at the RedBulls.

2012 is boring now

 Well maybe you should go away, and come back in March then. Save us all being bored.

Anyone else heard about the mosquitoes in McLarens hotel? Apparently they're staying in a new Hilton that is near water infested with Mosquitos. They're staying their because Hilton are a sponsor. The thing is some of these Mosquitos carry dengue fever which leaves you debilitated for 18mths. Staff are madly swatting mosquitoes in the lobby and the authorities, are belatedly misting the area with insecticide. Jenson Buttons manager has been bitten on his ear.

I'm hoping Red Bull tell Webber to behave and take out Alonso or have paid Grosjean to go mad again. :hehe:

I only mentionedf the McLarens to counter all the crap written about Button. Today proved that the both driver are very close.

Nah. Martin Whitmarsh must have put bricks in Hamilton's sidepods or something.
