Pen for Perez too for blocking other cars, 5 places...

7th and 8th for the Mclaren boys. crap. what was Lewis doing in the pits when everyone else was going out on a quickening track? :banghead:

What did McLaren do wrong now?

Caught out ,up until q3 he had it in the bag.

As for the comment in the post above yours.I would guess that out qualifying your team mate through chance rather than skill is not something you would want to gloat over lol.

I wrote on my blog about waiting for the excuses from the Hamilton fans and I come on here and, well... :hehe:

You can all say that Lewis would have beaten Jenson if he was still on the track; which is nothing but speculation, we'll never know because he wasn't on track at the end. Bottom line is that the McLaren is slow compared to it's main rivals, qualifying seventh and eighth is piss poor for a team with the resources and talent of McLaren.

Great lap from Alonso; but I wonder whether he'll be able to hold onto that lead in dry conditions, like what was the case in Britain two weeks ago, I'm putting my money on Vettel for the win!

We didn't get the whole story today. Had it remained dry, I'm confident McLaren would've nailed pole. They'd have been further up than 6th and 7th, at any rate!

Despite the propaganda from the drivers about the upgrades; I don't believe they have made that big a jump; it was dry on race day in Silverstone and look what happened there!

I guess you need something to help you forget Jensons abbysmal performance this season,if out qualifying Lewis by chance is all you have to shout about then it's a sad day for Button fans to say the least. :hehe:

Hmm,the pundits do not agree with you,the Mclaren is right up their for speed this race, both drivers were caught out to be fare.

If it stays dry then the Mclaren has a chance.

Ive no idea whether Lewis would have beaten Jenson if he was out on track. The thing is, on a drying track he wasnt out. Why not?? Jens finished ahead of Lewis, good on him , but I don't think either have anything to be chuffed about 7th and 8th is crap. They do appear to be faster in the dry but once again they've thrown away track position.

I don't need to forget anything; I realise that JB's performances have been piss poor for much of the first nine races, but previous form means nothing, swings and roundabouts; we'll never know what would have happened as Lewis didn't take to the track for whatever reason. The pundits are only offering an opinion just like me; we'll see what happens tomorrow afternoon.

Silverstone was poor, but this weekend the team have shown good pace, right up to Q3. :irked:

Guess we'll see who is right tomorrow afternoon, assuming the race doesn't get called off for rain... F1 is more like cricket these days, what next, red flagged for bad light? :hehe:

I was relieved that Q3 wasn't postponed due to the bleating from Alonso and Schumacher. I was quite surprised at such nonsense coming from the latter, but with Alonso, such adversity to a drop of rain is routine.

Yes. I agree. It was his whinging that swayed the decision to red flag Silverstone. Otherwise he'd have been up shits creek without a paddle.

The cars these days seem more susceptible to aquaplaning. Plus they are fast than back in the day so the dangers are naturally higher.
