Perez was way offline though, in his case it was a Rookie mistake, after all he is one. He should have just lifted and aborted instead of trying to get back on line. That caused him to lose it.

Glad that Perez is seemingly alright, that's the important thing. A mistake on his part is what it looked like. Nasty accident.

Vettel was massively lucky there, as McLaren had loads of potential that just couldn't be utilised in the end. I hope Button nails him at the start, because the Bulls just had it too easy there. :(

Right now ive calmed down.......

Vettel will win, Hamilton should do some slicing before he gets to schumacher, who will ruin the rest of his race.

Buttons too much of a pansy to even realise theres a possibility of jumping vettel at the start, he will slot in second place like a good boy.

Tommorows grand prix will be as boring as f*ck.

If Vettel wins tomorrow he's the luckiest man alive. Other than Perez....

Agreed, such a shame too as Hamilton looked like he had the pace, my only hope is that the RBs are slower in the race and something goes wrong for them, they are due some bad luck...

Well, if you look at Barcelona, McLaren were way off RBR in quali, but they were a match for them in the race. In Monaco, McLaren are much closer to RBR this time out, so you never know. It just so happens than McLaren were completely f****d over and this track is the worst for overtaking. :banghead:

McLaren took the risk of not doing a banker with Lewis like they did with Jenson, this is what can happen. Sucks but thats racing. Even if Perez didnt crash, Massa's outlap ruined Lewis' hot lap, he would have had to go again. Still starting 7th this season even around Monaco... anythings possible.

Nah if Vettel wins itll just be a decent drive from him, pole to flag, like 100 percent of every win hes got.

the luck for vettel came today, he doesnt need to do much tomorrow.

1. Thank God for the 'safe barrier'. :cloud9:
2. Thought someone could push Vettal off the pole :( .

You do have to thank god for DRS and pirelli though, at least something will happen.

Maybe this is how its meant to pan out, alonsos last championship was 2006, top driver in f1 has had no championships for going 5 years, vettel will surely win this one, and win no more in his career, cause his car wont be dominant, maybe get three titles, one in 2012.

Im having to learn to try and enjoy F1 without my favourite driver winning, F1 is not a fairytale no matter who you support, Schumi had to wait 5 years for his third title, but they all came, alonso was the new thing for f1, and hamilton stole that within two years. Now is Vettels time.....and he will lose it.

But the cream ALWAYS rises to the top. The Best drivers always end up winning the titles they're good enough for;

Stewart 3
Senna 3
Prost 4
Schumi 7
Hakkinen 2
Lauda 3

Think im just gonna chill now and enjoy F1 no matter who wins, my drivers championships will come soon enough :D

So Vettel gettin gpole by almost 0.5 s is hm being lucky??
 oh these people are just hilarious.

Massive shunt by Perez!!
that exit there is got to be one of the most dangerous places in F1. Coulthard had a big shunt there a while ago.. and that's where Kimi caught Sutil...... difficult area, i think mostly due to the change of slope, entering one of the most exciting breath-holding sections in F1.

Anything can happen in this race.
