Surprised that no-one has mentioned England's two victories over the weekend, 4 - 0 against Bulgaria and 1 - 3 against the Swiss, surprise of group G is Montenegro who sit in second place behind England on six points; England only on top courtesy of the +6 goal difference!

Yeah was great to get 6 points from those games.Only things I didn't like were paying £9 for a half of beer in some places in Zurich and Basle and leaving my phone in the hotel hungover lol.

Don't be fooled by Montenegro if you look back they're only about 6 years old after parting from Serbia and have had a few good results.They're no walkovwer although this is a weak group to be fair.

Given the group they are in and the poor performance of the Swiss I can see Montenegro going through as runners up! I just hope that once England get through to the Euro tournament they don't capitulate like they did in the world cup, this qualification group will in no way prepare them for the Euro 2012 championships!

In the under 21s I am happy Italy bet Wales in the end and also Bosna i Hercegovina. Means we qualify. YEAH! And for the 2012 Euros. Nice start for Italy. 2 wins out of 2 games, whilst major rivals in our group Serbia managed 1 win and a draw and Slovenia one draw and one loss. Great start.

I don't barrick for Sampdoria but I love this Sampdoria song. Not sure if it is the official anthem but either way I love this song. I used to hear and listen to it countless times when I was little. I even still know the words to it. The clip below I stumbled across Youtube and I had to keep it. This clip is pretty good as it shows the words as it is being sang.
