Wow... it was so easy to find the Mercedes thread! Thank you RC!

Now, an observation about Mercedes... yeah the tire situation blah blah blah, we know all about it, but don't overlook the fact that Mercedes is maintaining the development race over the season with Red Bull.

Ferrari has come unglued sadly and need to seriously re-evaluate everything Lotus's only strengh it their ability to nurse those tires but the car clearly doesn't have the full on package of Red Bull.

But if you look at Mercedes' Achilles heel last year was their inability to keep up the development race. It's not the same team and clearly few people were expecting the turn around they've made.

This belongs in the Mercedes thread. I was glad hearing Lauda's comments about Hamilton, I think this race helps cement the personnel in Mercedes and get everyone all the more aligned towards just achieving success and less politics!
