At the risk of ruffling some feathers, I watched the last few laps again before deleting it. Alonso's pass on Kimi was skillfully executed. Completely set up through a few corners. I know we can blame strategy and poor choices all day but at the end of the day we've seen some drivers manage to defend a seemingly indefensible position. Alonso is clearly the better driver for the scuderia at the moment.

Peter Windsor and Rob Wilson take a look at one of the most intriguing pairings on the 2014 F1 grid - ice cold Kimi and the man who ousted him from Ferrari, Fernando Alonso.

Who will win the political battle, and who will perform on the track?

Two former world champions (Kimi for Ferrari) who are both looking to make 2014 the year of Ferrari.

That is my fault. I had to go out after I had renamed half of them, then forgot to do the rest

I'm putting this article here because it's got an interesting piece about why Mattiacci was picked to be team principle of Ferrari, what a big job he hs on his hands, and how if and when it all sorts out it may be too late for Alonso

http://thejudge13.com/2014/05/23/daily- ... 20contract

There is also an interesting piece on the Rosberg contract and a piece on the F1 press conference when team principles were asked about funding. Boulier apparantly let slip that he is now Team principal of McLaren.

Scroll around yo find the bits that interest you.

You'll have to forgive me; but, after reading "Fred" and "Il Padrino",
I decided the judge is more biased than I care to read.

No special treatment here for Ferrari I'm afraid, the judge is irreverent with everyone.

That's fine, I still prefer not to read someone who is disrespectful.

23 May 2014 – Ferrari team boss Marco Mattiacci has denied making an approach for Red Bull's Adrian Newey.

Sections of the media suggested that Ferrari had tabled an offer for design guru Newey to make the switch to Maranello, prompting him to commit his immediate future to Red Bull ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix.

But when quizzed in Monte-Carlo, Mattiacci commented: "[Did] I invite Adrian Newey to work at Ferrari? No."

Mattiacci went on to reaffirm his belief in the Ferrari workforce, but says major progress is required.

"We know we need to have a continuous improvement every race and that's the way we are working," he said.

"We have a lot of assets, very positive people, drivers... but definitely there is the need to improve dramatically."

Fair enough, but you'll miss interesting facts.

If and when they are presented without bias, let me know!

TJ13 is about as low as they get when it comes to bias and he is simply wrong on so much stuff that he writes that, for me, he has zero merit or value.
