The old timers are always coming out and giving their opinion. I don't even think their opinions count for much, as F1 was such a different beast in 70s, they don't actually know what its like to be a modern F1 driver.

I'm going to start an F1 retirement home, and drug them all so they don't bother anyone anymore.

Jackie Stewart is ok in small doses but I find Stirling Moss a totally insufferable crazy old coot (I mean he gave up his one shot at the championship - wtf?!). You ever notice that he never has anything nice to say about any non-British drivers or teams? He patriotic to the extent of being xenophobic!

I like Moss....legend!

It is annoying, but it's mostly people with no F1 knowledge that listen to old timers spouting off and hang on their every word. People with some F1 knowledge see them for what they are. People to be respected for their past achievements but not necessarily qualified to tell today's drivers what they should and should not be doing. Ayrton Senna famously put Jackie Stewart in his place when he tried it with him.
