Nope I don't agree with you.

Ofcourse you dont :hehe: but there are numbers to back it up :wavey:

Let's agree to disagree.

Previous F1 experience

Alonso 6 seasons 2 championships
Hamilton 0 seasons

On paper Alonso should have walked over Hamilton in his Rookie season. The fact he didnt just annoys the hell out of Alonso fans who like to cling to the idea the only way it was possible was Hamilton was being favoured. When in all fact the facts point more to the other side of the garage.
End of the day Lewis was 2nd in the championship Fernando was 3rd due to more 2nd places. End of. Lewis beat him in his first season! :D

I read up to page 5, got bored and skipped to page 11.

To my semi-orgasmic pleasure, the discussion was still on team orders :irked:

Hope you'll get the other half while reading a more interesting topic on here - I'm rooting for ya :hehe:

I was thinking... not another Alonso/Hamilton thread and then I remembered what the title was.

:yes::wink:

The notion that Alonso fans have that Lewis was favored, thus he was beating him should be replaced with toilet paper! When Alonso tried every trick known to man and still lost, making Lewis' VICTORY sweeter baby!

Were you actually watching F1 in 2007? There's nothing sweet about losing the championship by a point. It should have been devastating for you.

Devastating? WHY? I like Kimi  I was very happy he won the WDC! Very happy with the Rook's beatdown of Zo,and even happier now that he did it while Zoe tried to sabotage him!

Zo's fans on the other hand seem to be in denial :hehe:

Do you seriously judge a driver on qualifying speed alone?

LOL they judge a driver based on the parameter that better fits their agenda of the moment. Its Q... until they are taling about Vettel... then they find something else wrong with him...

Oh these people......

And how has Lewis performed since then?

Does his performances in the season after 2007 prove he's gotten better with experience or not?

So... someone is faster than another depending on how many yrs they've raced? or because one driver had more seasons in F1?
or is it because of Q results, despite the races and actual pace showing a different scenario?
c'mon... so what's the criteria???

It seems to never be... ermmm actually being faster! Like in the case of Alonso vs Massa.

Show me lewis' achievements when they rate and stand on HIS OWN. Not about how he compared to Alonso on one occasion. If you look at any driver in the season you choose... then let's choose Schumacher's 2010 :yikes: What a poor driver!!

Lets see.
2008 he won WDC
2009 he earned 2 victories and 5 total podiums while his teammate was a ghost
2010 he's paired yet again with the current WDC,outqualifies him on a regular basis, clearly dominates him and finishes ahead of him!

What do you think?
