All the talk of Vettel and Webber conflict is rather irrelevant now that Red Bull have sewn up the Constructors championship.
For those who didn't listen to the BBC commentary last night they confirmed that in the Thursday interviews Vettel conceded that he "clearly understands the current situation" and that "he understands this is a team game"...and furthermore admitted that he will "do whatever it takes to ensure a Red Bull driver takes the World Driver's Championship".
The simple sanity -check is that Vettel will only be conceding to Webber if Alonso is running third at Abu Dahbi and the Red Bulls are running 1-2. On that basis I have to accept that this is the fairest way to ensure all drivers have a fair crack at the title right to the end. There is no doubt in my mind that if this scenario plays out Mark Webber will be the world champion. Any other scenario will not require team orders.
