FFS, right, own up. Who has been putting a curse on Ferrari?

Ok ALonso stuffed the start up,

But. .. Puncture for Massa, Alonso either gets of the road or runs into Kubica, then Kubica breaks down so they can't just swap places. Oh look, a punishment and a safety car comes along so the field gets bunched up before Alonso serves his penalty. Alonso passes Luzzia and gets himself a puncture in the process.

bah, nothing for Ferrari this season, and I'm not sure this team is good enough for any titles in the near future.

If it wasn't for bad luck, they wouldn't have any luck at all.

Edit: Alonso did take the fastest lap in the end for all thats worth.

Drive through penalty for alonso!

Best news of race day, he should have yielded the place back within 3 corners, he didn't and rightly got the penalty.

Best news of the day?

I agree he should have yielded.

I love how Alonso was whinging about people getting off light with penalties and suffered heavily in the following race - deserved.

Deserved? That makes no sense really. If anything it merely compounds and confirms the legitimacy of his frustrations.

Crap race. The old circuit was definitely better... luckily the left the Becketts/Maggots etc complex.

Seems like Ferrari will not catch a break. So they should turn focus on next yr and the next set of regulations. Too many mistakes, and too many wrong side of the fence stuff. If i was Alonso i would have stopped the car after the drive through. is there some regulation to prevent that?

And finally!! Lewis managed to take vettel out. It took him several tries, but he got it right this time.

Big FU to the team from Webber. Horner should now lower his head and play it wiser next time a decision like this comes. If the cahmpionship was getting won by Vettel by 50pts or so with mclaren close behind, the decision would have made sense. As it was... it was terrible.

Button... WTF! he must have had it all planned !!

my issue is not with the penalty, but yet again how late and inept the stewards were at dishing it out

do they not watch the race? how come it took them so long to start investigating it? once investigated the penalty was handed out fast enough however so why did it take 5 laps or so to start the investigation? couldn't charlie or somebody tell ferrari to tell alonso to give the place back immediatley. did they only find out about the incident that much later? as i said are they actually watching the race?

punishments should be handed out to drivers to punish the situation they are currently in, not the one they are going to be in

and lol @bud saying ferrari fans are as bad as the mclaren fans of 08 on this board of which he was a big part of. you guys were so absolutely redicuous it was insane, but now ferrari cant speak out about your now beloved fia? you cried like babies over 08's leadership yet you defend the new fia which looks to be pulling the same tricks. how incredibly 2 faced.

Enjoyed this one, and seems the circuit change has added another straight on which some overtaking can be done, unlike the old complex it replaced, as demonstrated when Vettel overtook Schumacher.
Glad Webber was able to put one over Vettel and Hamilton to make good use of an underperforming car.
Am a bit unsure about the Alonso affair, sure he should have realised earlier he might have got in trouble for cutting the corner and just let Kubica back past. However it wasnt his fault that a few laps later Kubica retired. Was also very unfortunate for him that the penalty came after the safety car so the punishment was even worse. No wonder he was so angry after the race he didnt want to be interviewed. Kind of reminiscent of that famous Spa race win for Hamilton which was taken from him, even though he let Raikkonen back past and then Raikkonen crashed out!

Really, really enjoyed the race today. For some reason, even though I'm sat watching it at home on a tv screen, Silverstone has a fantastic atmosphere.

For a change, I was actually thrilled to see a Red Bull win. I'm not usually a Mark Webber supporter, in fact he's managed to really annoy me a few times this season, but I wanted him to beat Vettel today after the way he's been treated by the team. Good for him! That car is scarily fast. Watching Vettel, who normally can't overtake for toffee, drive through the field was amazing, he had so much speed.

Great finish for both McLaren drivers and Rosberg. I was thrilled to see two of my favourite drivers on the podium :D

I thought the Alonso penalty was a bit harsh but he really should have given that place back immediately. It just seems that once again the stewards delay in giving a penalty cost him, but then sometimes I guess you just get unlucky.

And I'm starting to get excited by Kobayashi again, looks like he's maturing a bit. He's finishing better with every race.
