wouldn't they have been faster in all sessions, not just all of suddenly go faster for the last session.

all sessions arent setup to race fuel load ride heights.......

No, I'd say they are. The teams need to set their ride height for the race before quali. Not change it during. Say a team ran low ride height and then didn't get through to the next session. They'd be starting the race with the wrong ride height. If they were changing ride heights during quali, we'd also see the times being slower between sessions.

Red Bull just can't have a ride height system. They've joked about it far too much. If they were found to actually have the system, they'd suddenly look beyond stupid.

Also, it's been confirmed by both drivers the neutral selection thing didn't effect them. It was only happening on their outlaps. Not during hotlaps.

There was mention by the SPEED commentators that the temperature had dropped by 9 degrees from the start of Q1 to Q3 and a radio transmission from Lewis said something about his rears going off or something of the sorts?

What happened to mclaren in q3 anyway? Hamilton looked fast in q2.

Lewis claimed that car no longer felt right not sure what happened really both cars underperformed in Q3 Lewis especially so.

wait a minute, diddn't Lewis have that neutral selection issue in his hot lap for q3?

I thought it was JB who was having that issue?

Both had the problem but it didn't effect either of their hot laps it only happens on in and out laps. I didn't realise there had big change in track temperature that could be the reason.

Nah, they both had it.

This topic makes me laugh though,i wouldn't write any of the McLaren off until after the race. Anyone thinking that the Redbulls are in for an easy time can think again, their main rivals are at the front of the field this week not the back..

I think Massa had the wrong shoes on in Q3 so dont blame him.
I'm not worried about schumi in the least. He'll show the old form soon enough. Absolute great lap from Vettel. I'm sure that was the fastest time since friday.

We're discussing the Mclaren's qualifying performance, who the hell is writing them off before the race?

I'm rooting for the mclaren guys.....red bull clearly has the fastest car this season so I'm not really surprised that they're dominating the qualifying....I'm hoping for an exciting race tomorrow :)

Cheers to that thinking! But I think Vettle will just do a "Schumacher of old" and just win it with ease.

Those where the days :cloud9: oh how I miss them :(:hehe: .

But seriously, there has to be something going on in the Red Bull. They're much faster than other during qualifyng but the race pace is the same as McLaren and Ferrari. If it isn't ride height control, what more could it be? :D
