Greggs is a chain of bakers in the UK who sell cakes, bread and a wide selection of pasteries and sandwiches.

They don't do Cornish pasties (or didn't last time I was in) so they're crap. :P

They don't do raw lamb so I also hate them.

I prefer Ainsley's. 8-)

But the best bakery in the world probably has to be the Beechworth Bakery in Australia.

Yip, and they're bloody lovely. The Scottish Beef Oval Bite is one of my lunchtime favourites. :dindins:

Indeed, they are quite tasty. But have you tried the spicy chicken pasty thing they did a few years ago?

Yeah. The stewards ruled that eating a Magnum and washing it down with a Coke was within tolerable boundaries, but the spicy chicken pasty from Greggs was just a step too far. A decision that Kimi rues to this day. It cost him the 2005 championship, I'm sure.

Greggs do a fine range in both lamb and beef pasties, both Cornish and Welsh!

At Christmas they also do something they claim to be "Christmas Pastie", in Wales at least that's a lamb pasty with extra lubrication (mint sauce).

This post was brought to you by the Welsh Patisserie Board.

Wonder if Kimi'll use the new tarmac around turn 1 at suzuka?

Ooops, completely off topic, sorry.
