Glock should be ashamed of himself, Hamilton didnt deserve that

Bollocks, he was on the wrong tyes

UP YOURS FERRARI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toyota are Cheats! Now we know who the real moral champion is don't we. I hope something happens and Lewis Hamilton is stripped of his title. Congrats FERRARI for the constructors.

UP YOURS MCLAREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow, im a huge ferrari fan like you are AKR but to say toyota cheated? thats not right at all. he was on the wrong tires, probably gave it too much gas at the last turn and slid out. it happens. trust me, i did not like seeing hamilton win, especially with the performance vettel gave to hold him off. it was a great race, it had me yelling at the tv for the last three laps so i cant complain. but to say toyota cheated is just grasping for some reason to make it all better in your head. remember, not everyone is out to get ferrari, enough with the conspiracy theory

Hamilton should have gone into that race with 7 more points, so he won it last race for me. Well deserved. The FIA should be the ones that are ashamed of themselves....they are the REAL cheats. If Glock did do that on purpose, then good on them. The stewards must have been steaming mad...HA HA HA.

Phew! What a nerve racking race!! Wouldnt want to go through that again!! But WHOOOPPEEEEEE!!!!!!!! What a fantastic result. Best driver over the year and UP YOURS FIA. HA! Lewis and McLaren did it despite you!!!

Having said that. Well done Massa , a great guy and a very much improved driver. A great drive today, he did all he could. Like McLarenFan, I felt sad for his family when they thought he'd won. Lewis is my man and he deserved the championship but Massa has much to be proud of.
Now roll on 2009!!!
And Lewis..thats the first!! Heres to many more :wine:

Toyota are cheats and they no doubt agreed to do what they did. How can he lose that easily on the last corner. The other Toyota probably backed off to make it look legit as that way they would of been consistant in their sudden slow down. The FIA can do what they like for all I care. I don't like to win by consipracy or in court rooms, but that was cheating at its best by McLaren and Toyota. Once a cheater always a cheater. I hope they take it off Lewis Hamilton. Congrats to Ferrari for the constructors title. No cheating there at least. Anyway I have had enough. All you go banter your stuff. I am taking a break. Can't stand this rubbish anymore. If there is justice then this result cannot stand. :(

That is the biggest crock of cr@p I have ever read. All these Ferrari fans on here completely silent when it comes to some awful and frankly unlawful decisions by the stewards, but are happy to call McLaren and Toyota cheats. Well explain this, why on earth would Toyota do McLaren any favours? Come on explain to me why they wanted McLaren to win over Ferrari? Numpty. Learn to accept defeat more gracefully, even Massa did that.

My heart's still in my mouth from that final corner when Hamilton passed Glock to win the title. I can't half feel sorry for Massa and the heartbreak he suffered when he crossed the line thinking he had done it only for Hamilton cross the line in 5th a few moments later.

I am quite simply speechless.

Totally agree. Glock should have fought for his spot. BS that he's been on the wrong tires because he was on the last corner. He was on the last corner! How come he managed to stay ahead of Hamilton & Vettel for 2 laps while it was raining but not the LAST corner.

Anyways, McLaren did not win the WCC and that says it all. Hamilton cares about himself. He can't deliver the title to his team. Ferrari beats McLaren again as usual. Ron Dennis would rather give it to his boy than win the WCC.

I've already talked about Toyota. The team took a gamble and it didn't pay off. Simply, Glock was on the wrong tires in torrential rain. By the last lap, the track was in a terrible state. He should be applauded for keeping on the track in such conditions.

McLaren did not win the constructors' championship, but that's got nothing to do with Hamilton this season. Yeah, he made some mistakes, but he's a young lad who can only improve as he gets older and wiser. When you consider his experience, he's done very well. The single-biggest reason for McLaren not winning the constructors' title is Kovalainen. Quite simply, he didn't pull his weight this season. It was also true that the MP4-23 had some teething problems and was a little bit harder on its tyres than the Ferrari, so it was always going to get done over in a stint in the race.

Lewis did NOT deserve the drivers title PERIOD. Macca has never given Kovi the smallest chance to race for the title(Just look how many times Kovi had the possibility to start with a lighter car this year?) So basically Lewis has been given everything that other teams has to split with two drivers. To me it wouldn´t matter that much because Kubica was out of the battle all ready but it´s just such a shame to see something like this going on in the greatest racing class in the world.
Sorry Lewis but I have no respect for you, you will never be a champ because champions are people who earn their championship........

What a lot of trash. Kovalainen has only himself to blame for not being in title contention. Despite the best efforts of everybody at McLaren, he wasn't up to standard. Initially, he could afford to run heavier fuel strategies than Hamilton because he generally took less out of his tyres. His race pace, however, was poor because he took a lot out of his rear tyres. As a result, he could not be given the shorter-fuel strategy, for he would not have the race pace to build up a sufficient lead for the first round of pit stops. Hamilton, though, did have the race pace to build up a sufficient gap so as not to be passed in the pits. Then, as the season progressed, Hamilton got on top of his tyre problem by changing his driving style. Kovalainen, on the other hand, was not able to.

Hamilton bottle it once more and Glock came to the rescue.

Imagine 18 races, over 3500 Miles of racing and it came down to the last 100 yards!!!

Forza Ferrari Champs :clap::drink:

OK first of all, there are some serious trolls about so this post is independent of anything before. I'm not going into it, it's not worth it.

First point: Very VERY well done Felipe Massa. It's difficult now to remember that when he spun of in Malaysia everyone (including me) was saying "same old Massa" and thinking his Ferrari seat was under threat. The guy has picked himself up and done everything he could to improve his game. Well done to him, and I have absolute respect for the guy. He did all he could in Brazil. Took pole, won the race in dominant fashion, and I really hope this isn't his only shot at the title because, well, I'm overwhelmed with how much character he's shown this season.

Second point: Well done Lewis. Whatever else you say about the guy, he doesn't do dull, does he???!!! Over the last two seasons he has shown himself to be a really great driver, and if he hadn't won the championship in at least one of those two years, it would have been, to my mind, a travesty of justice. I'm really pleased for Lewis, for McLaren, and especially - especially - for Anthony Hamilton who, whatever you say about him, has brought his son up well, made so many sacrifices and has seen it all pay off. The bond between father and son is a special one and Anthony has done a really important job in giving such a positive role model to every father in Britain (and that goes for Mr Massa too).

Third point: the Belgian stewards must be sighing with relief. Had Hamilton not got past Glock and Massa had won on race wins, many, many people would be saying that Massa did not deserve the win he was awarded in Belgium, and they would have been right. At least this way we can draw a line under it and no-one can feel hard done by.

Fourth point: Well done Ferrari. It pains me to say it but Ferrari had the best car and the best combination of drivers, and they really do deserve their Constructors' Championship. I hope they don't feel too bad about not winning both championships - They need to pat themselves on the back and congratulate themselves on a job well done. And I REALLY hate saying that, but it's true.

Fifth point: What a race! What a Championship! Absolutely incredible. I've been a motor racing fan for 14 years and I've never seen anything like it in any formula. This will go down as one of the greatest finish to any sporting event ever, and win or lose there was a part of me just saying "WOW!". Of course I'm chuffed my guy won, but either way it has been an unbelievable year, an unbelievable championship fought between two truly great teams and two truly great drivers, and I think there'll never be another year like it.

The End.
