I have only posted 2 times on spygate, in suport of Lewis / McLaren. Having seen the new evidence, RD has a case to answer - the buck stops with the boss.

What really bugs now is Max Mosley's half baked job which has allowed 2 guilty parties to walk scot free. Del-a-Rosa and Alonso were clearly in beach of their contracts, breaking the FIA licence rules, acting unprofessionally (how can they hold their heads up in the Paddock ever again), and illegally encouraging use of Ferrari IPR. They should be punished severely, not admonished. It is like a murderer being pardoned for admitting their murder! It cannot be right for them to get off scot free. The cheated first, then kept quiet when the story broke, and then had to be bribed to come clean. Mosley should have found another way. Half baked and not satisfactory.

If Aonso and Del-a-Rosa have any professional pride they should resign. Go...please

Hello everyone I'm new here but have been an avid F1 fan since the early '80's.
I just wanted to comment that I believe that driver's point should have been deducted also. Now my question is I had heard that Alonso was in "hot water", what did he have to do with the outcome?

Thanks,
Gregg

everyone hear has branded mclaren as cheaters or ferrari as conspirators. What I want to know is where were the two that started this whole thing; Nigel Stepney and Mike Couchlin, on thursday? It seems that Mclaren are paying for their criminal behaviour.

FIA too afraid to bring these two along, they dont want the truth and they dont want to know "where ferraris bodies are burried".

You have no idea about what you're talking. Those emails you say where sent BEFORE the "information exchange", so, those emails have nothing relative the scandall. So, STOP LYING.

I know when the emails were sent. At the start of it all. I'm not lying. Thats fact. After that Stepney was silenced. The information discussed in the texts was pitlane gossip and no Ferrari parts are on the McLaren. A smokescreen. The really interesting part will be if Stepney ever spills the beans.

he poached Fernando from Renault purely so that he could measure Lewboy against Fernando, and forgot a very important lesson in life; When you try to play 2 people against each other, sooner or later the sh!t will hit the fan and you end up covered in it :D

Nonsensical drivel! I agree that hiring Alonso was a monumental mistake as far as RD is concerned but hiring him in order to test a rookie's competence is laughably ridiculous. In fact I don't even know why I'm bothering to respond to such crap.

Being a "man of honour" Dali, I'm sure that RD would ascribe similar attributes to other people in his initial dealings with them... assuming, of course, that they had not overtly displayed reasons to believe otherwise. As it turns out, Alonso is anything other than an honourable man and consequently Alonso, in large part, has cost McLaren a large amount of cash and the 2007 Constructors' Title, whilst himself remaining immune. Still, RD continues to give Alonso equal status in the drivers title, because RD is an honourable man, and your tunnel vision rantings will not change that one iota.

Yes huge mistake but only so in retrospect. It didnt look so when he acquired the double world champion. The snake hadnt shown his poison then. You hire the best drivers you can at the time, their subsequent behaviour and performance can only be guessed from whats gone before. The sign last year of Alonso's true character was the whining about being alone. If you base your dislike of Ron and your desire to see him go on his decision to employ Alonso I find that very odd.

I don't base it on just Alonso's employment, but on many other things over the years.

Being a "man of honour" Dali, a concept that you may find difficult to comprehend, I'm sure that RD would ascribe similar attributes to other people in his initial dealings with them... assuming, of course, that they had not overtly displayed reasons to believe otherwise. Now, now, didn't you complain about insults, etc.?

Ok Dali, I edited my post and I apologise for suggesting that you might have trouble with the concept of "honour". Do you want me to delete the bit about your "tunnel vision rantings" too?
