Not really. It was a pretty dull race.

Bring back refueling and not so fragile tyres.

I meant awesome day because Ferrari and Alonso won. :hehe:

I'm pleased for Alonso, but that was deadly.

It was so great listening to the anthems of Spain and Italy after the race. There was no chance of turning the tv off after the race on this occasion. :D

Turned off the TV and laptop when the leader started the final lap. What a crap race...easily the worst of the season. :vomit:

Seeing some of the onboard footage during the race really shows how much the driver's are pushing the cars. Does seem Pirelli have gone way over the top with their tyre deg this year and have to bring back a bit tyre longevity, its starting to get out of hand and looking silly with drivers going well below 100% of the cars performance. Anyway well done Ferrari and Alonso, they play a good strategy, and also happy to see Ricciardo get in the points again.

Alonso didn't win easily. He had to push and his team had to pick the correct strategy. Kimi could of easily won. Wasn't a boring race even outside a Ferrari or Alonso fan point of view. And this was much better than the last race which testa di ca##o won, and Alonso was robbed of at least a certain 2nd place because of a stupid DRS wing

I think Barcelona is a good indicator for car strength the remainder of the season. If you've got a car that can perform there, I think you're on very solid footing the remainder of the season. Given that, I think it's Ferrari's advantage and today they had the confidence to show it.

Bahrain was 10 times more exciting compared to this race.

Have to agree. Todays race was a bit of a letdown.
I'm sick of drivers being told to manage the fooking tyres. Who gives a toss about tyres anyway?

If Pirelli can't make a compound that actually works, then they can beat it.
Tyres......what a load of pish.

Anyway, well done to Alonso and Kimi. Great drives.
Mercedes must be cursing these bloody tyres. Lewis and Nico both deserved better than they got today.

So why in 2013 is everyone talking about protecting tyres, rather than racing??
F1 is starting to look ridiculous imo. Let the fooking drivers race 100%.

If this doesn't happen, then Bernie will lose the fans imo.
Without the fans, F1 is like the fooking Clio Cup.....i.e, no TV money = bust.
