In practice this morning, the F2012 looked like a handful compared to McLaren and Red Bull. It's always a little bit more interesting when Webber is getting sumtin' sumtin' out of the car in relationship to Vettel. Let's see where the numbers stack up tomorrow, erm, I mean tonight.

Agreed WB, the morning session, from the pics I saw was run on the old rear wing. (I think they tested 3 renditions of the RW today). The second session they used the RW they tried at Singapore but decided not to use but its now got the old vertical gills. That seemed to go a lot better for Nando.

Was Nando fastest on the prime tire in the 2nd session?

Felipe's times on his last long run looked very good.

I think that Vettel was on or near the limit, but in FP2 he set his fastest time on hard tyres, which was only 3 tenths off the fastest lap when everyone else was running on softs.

If practice is any indicator, then Vettel will be getting pole when on soft tyres!

The McLarens hot runs were both interrupted so we can't tell their actual pace.

I really doubt the McLarens can challenge the RedBull's but Hulk did a great job, good drives from the Lotus's and also the Saubers aswell.
