Well I'm pretty convinced that there will be no 8th different winner this time. The first driver to win twice this season hopefully will be Vettel, but there is almost a fairytale in having Hamilton win 2 in a row. Qualifying isn't broadcasted until 1:30 am here (another 15 minutes) not sure whether it's worth staying up for...

By the looks of things it's a really odd qualifying session...

The first thing I mostly notice and confirm, is not the difference between Vettel and Webber and/or Hamilton and Button - they've all proven that they are capable drivers, but once again - Maldonado has wiped the floor with Senna. Did he have any technical issues?

When did Senna ever show anything special anyway? He's been driving around in race cars practically riding on the last name, I can bet my house Maldanado is definitely a bigger talent than Bruno and I'm a guy who can't really stand Maldanado.

Qualifying was nothing special. You're not missing anything fromthis one if you know the result.

I think you could be right. First double winner of the season tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be a Vettel unless Red Bull don't drop the ball again with the tyres.

Also - congratulations to Kovaleinen on qualifying ahead of the Toro Rossos! :drink:

(If not Perez - I think that is your new number 2 driver at Ferrari there...)

Also, it's not really a question but more of a statement - Glock sat out of qualifying because he was unwell. From memory Kobayashi couldn't race for (ironically) Glock last time he fractured his vertebrae. Was it something to do with him not participating fully in practice?

So I guess that there will only be one Virgin on the track tomorrow. Not that it matters much anyway. Piss poor performance from them, they're getting worse while the other 2 are making progress!

If there is going to be a 8th winner, it will probably come from one of the Lotus guys, but i think will have a repeat winner, but what do I know, so hard to predict what will happen in the races, hell... the safety car could win the race as far as i'm concerned, what tyres are Bernd Maylander starting on :hehe:

I think some Q3 guys might have a new set of tyres for the race, can anyone confirm? Raikkonen and Rosberg i think might... obviously further back Webber has a couple of sets, probably the Ferraris and Schumacher do too.

Really brilliant qualifying, to have half the grid covered by under 3 tenths at that one point is unbelievable!

Lol bullsh*t. Rosberg wasn't even on a hot lap...was it Hamiltons fault if Rosberg couldn't get a gap himself?

I agree,i think this forum will suddenly come alive with the people who have been oddly missing since quali finished lol.

There won't be anything more than a repriamnd.

Don't bet your boots, it's Hamilton...he'd probably be stripped of Qualifying and made to start from the back for this.

Ted Kravitz:
No penalty for Hamilton: It seems the Stewards agreed with that last tweet that it was a busy track with many drivers holding each other up

Phew,thank god for that lol.
