I agreee with Spanky and Jensonb...

I think the most annoying will be the rear wing gimmick... and tires will last-drop off the same for everyone.

Also, the winner will not necessarily be the car thats kindest to its tires. Every car is set up differently for eveery race, plus you get the driver style. You could a solid car, that's set up a certain way for a certain race that it ends up chewing its tires.... or vice versa, the other way around. If anything, it makes the situation less clear and less likely for us to have a "car of the year".

I'm fed up with "cars of the year"! :irked:

Going on my 32nd year of F1 I can honestly say I have never seen a disappointing season but thats just me. :)

Just keep in mind that the tyres are being tested at temperatures way below those that we will see in the majority of, if not all, races during the 2010 season and as such they're going to perform differently now to how they will in the first race. You might just find that they work exactly as they would need to in order to produce exciting racing and tyre strategies without being completely useless. ;)

To advance, the sport has to evolve due to its own natural internal stresses. Every time the FIA writes another rule prescribing the construction of the cars, the sport comes one step closer to being homogenised.

...Depends on if you see F1 as a marathon or a sprint really. Both are valid ways to see it, just differing perspectives.

I've always thought of it more as a scone with clouted cream. :dindins:

:hehe: You're funny

I am looking forward to it. Then again, I love all the aspect of the sport, I wish it could be more lively and more dangerous but when you have drama queens like alonzo getting all in a hissy on the radio, it gets fun watching him scrap back to the front :P.

I loved when he got that drive thru because he was considered to have gained an unfair advantage then waited until the last possible moment to take his drive through only to get such in a queue :D:rofl::clap:

Just trying to keep alittle faith thats all. This topic takes place every season but then again we are satisfied with it. For myself it's just about the passion for F1 regardless of the outcome :) .

I never said that! :yikes:

This is what happens when the media starts acting like they speak for the fans :/

On another note, I don't quite get all this McLaren pessimism. I haven't seen any massive warning signs, and all the feedback has been positive.

Didnt mean anything sinister with the imcompetence, doesnt take anything away from how useless the tyres seem to be.

Also, im sure that you know i couldnt give half a **** if Jenson likes the tyres, why do i get this pathetic insane conspiracy that Martin Whitmarsh is more of a Button fan then Lewis, and that the extra pitstop in aus and overtake in turkey was a sly attempt at Whitmarsh to make Button look better.

If this fool in charge at Mclaren wants to keep his job he should do everything he can to favour Hamilton other then team orders, now theyre oing on about 2011 will be better for Jens as the car is equally suited, well arent you nice Martin, another year without a WDC but your drivers are friends.

Its easy for yourself to include Jensons comments as a plus cause hes not really a threat.

Getting reallly annoyed now, oh and Bahrain is officially cancelled. What a day.

That's quite way off...I'm primarily a Lewis fan but both points above would go down as honest mistakes from Whitmarsh in my books. I think he's gone out of his way to make Jenson comfortable, and there's no need for the same treatment for Lewis because he's been affiliated with the team since he was a kid!

This 'fool' did quite a respectable job last year, if Mark wasn't a douche in Singapore and Lewis didn't mess up in Monza, Lewis would've had a real solid chance of clinching the WDC. It was close, but no cigar. Don't forget, under Ron Dennis' reign, McLaren went a DECADE without any trophies!

Mm. And without a few wildcard problems beyond the team or drivers' control (Lewis's retirements in Spain and Hungary, both of Button's retirements) it's possible they could have netted the WCC Trophy. After all, they only missed out by 44 points - about 17.5 in old money.

This post is ludacris....The season is going to be "Phenominal" heres a few VB reasons why.

1)More cars are topping the time sheets
2)Mercedes Look more competitive
3)New drivers who look like they know what there doing
4)Di Resta? a Brit with a chance
5)Lewis is going to be more competitive then ever...mark my word

They are random, but good points for why 2011 will be amazing. 2010 started off like the feeling of a funeral...but after a few races? we was in motion like a roller coaster...There will be better teams this season...Don't jump the gun.

If your a hardcore fan like the 97% of people on here are you will know F1 is the most un predictable sport in the world. Alonso was for sure to win the 2010 WDC did he...NO.
