It sounds like he has a good attitude coming back to F1,

It is a good thing he has F1 experience but the money is probally the big reason HRT "hired" him.

The FIA could impose a "no driver money" rule, althoug it would be as convoluted as all the other rules

Narain has a seat and Karun doesn't?

:banghead: Eff you HRT, eff you.

That being said, with the rumours about Martin Brundle replacing Jonathan Legard as the BBC Colour Commentator and DC moving to the Expert Commentator role alongside him we could see Karun as a new on-air pundit for the BBC.

Imagine if the other HRT driver is a pay-driver too! Shame about Senna. Things could have turned out soooooo differently. Imgaine if Brawn GP did give him the seat over Rubens. Could have won a race or two and could have had a Hamilton like debut season

Pretty pathetic. Hope HRT go bust and f*** off out of F1.

as harsh as it is yes they dont really deserve to be in karts, let alone formula1, they are a total embarssement to the sport

Wow. Am I the only one happy with the news??

I always maintained Karthikeyan showed much more promise at Jordan than Chandok showed his whole racing career. Don't forget, he was outperforming his teammate (Timo was it?) easily in the 1st half and then simply seemed to run out of steam in the 2nd half.

I loved to watch him drive, he was like Felipe Massa when Massa first entered into F1, car is all over the place but still respectably fast. Compounded now with a donkey of a HRT, the back end of the grid shows some promise of excitement!!

GO NARAIN!

Ya that was a harsh thing to say but their car was a dog all last year, a dog compared to Lotus and Virgin even.

Now they are getting in a driver like Karthikeyan, I only remember his name from the F1 Championship game on the PS3.

F1 should have the best drivers in the world racing and the young up coming stars. Drivers like Nick Heidfeld who was landed in a car he had never driven yet scored twice out of 5 races and was putting pressure on Kobayashi that Pedro de la Rosa could only dream of. Hulkenberg who landed Williams an awesome pole in Brazil and schooled Rubens around Spa and Monza this year.

Where are they this year? Not on the 2011 grid on Sunday's anyway.

It's f***ing pathetic that this twit Karthikeyan is now in F1 who will struggle probably in a similar style to Badour in 09 while HRT grab the extra cash to stay a float as F1's worse team.

At least when Minardi were the worst team in F1 they still picked up the up and coming talent such as Alonso in 01 and Webber in 02.

I'm also at a loss why this Indian company sponsoring him didn't just give the money to Chandock instead? Contract conflict issue, perhaps?

Surely Chandock is the better prospect.
