thank heavens f1 is not going there, its going to india this year thats just bearable!

Why?

well look at the commenwealth games what a disaster that was, dirty hotels, bridges falling over, and they are going to try have f1?, they're going to be a laughing stock!

That was run by the Indian government wasn't it ,

at anyrate no point judging the countries entire ability to host an f1 event based on that, also the commonwealth games are probably bigger than the race (in terms of number of people needing to be catered for).

Like it or not, money is in Asia now. Bernie goes where the money lies, and Asian countries are making bids which quash out European countries which makes Bernie turn magnetic towards the region.

Malaysia, China, Singapore have entered the fray and their tracks, facilities, and results have been very good at least. Yeah, sometimes there's problems filling the grandstands up but that's due to the sheer size of the grandstands...like in China. It's easy to fill up grandstands when they only accommodate a few thousands which most European circuits have.

I dont think its too early. Awareness is much higher than in China as there's already been 2 Indian drivers in F1 and there's a team in F1 carrying the flag!!
