All our toy's are broken though ! Anywho back OT I still think until something in writing from the FIA appears it's just Max speak which I think is irrelevant until then, hows that ?

If the story is true then it could be bad. However I can not see the results being reversed (Bernie would not like it if RBR and STR decided to not turn up next year)

In what alternate reality would you ever expect Mad Max to make any public statement that would serve to enhance the lustre of the post-Mosley F1? He is a lover scorned and anything he might exclaim should be regarded accordingly.

I like the Texas bobbies. A Texas Deputy Sheriff once was instructed me to turn my car around, go back where I'd been and resume drinking beer. True story.

Under the terms of Ferrari's deal with FOM and the FiA to race from around the late nineties through something like 2006 at least, Ferrari had an un-mentioned Veto of changes to the regulations, meaning the Word Motorsport Council could make a decision and then have Ferrari tell them to kindly blow it out their collective a**e, and the FiA would have to just sit there grooving on it.

And people were saying that Ferrari didn't have an unfair advantage? Do they still have that VETO or was that revoked when it became public knowledge?

As for Red Bull breaking the agreed budget; do you think McLaren and Ferrari kept to their budget? they would have used their other business interest to develop their cars, and therefore does not come out of their agreed F1 budgets!

yeah i think that its just transparent accounting from red bull. i think mclaren and ferrari even Mercedes would be using R&D from other departments budgets etc if necessary.

and i would hardly say it de-legitamises their championship, wow. its not like they went around swapping cars and barging people off the track is it.
