I must admit that i thought that mclaren from germany onwards only had the 3rd fastest car, (bar spa, monza and abu dhabi), but up till that point they did genuily look the second fastest car

Yeah thats the way i feel as well. I think races like Turkey pulled down Ferrari a fair bit in his statistical view. McLaren really only had Canada where you can say they had a dominant race, Spa was hard to say because of the wet conditions. But compared to Ferrari where they had Germany Singapore Monza where they had the better car even over RedBull.

Spankyboy... and you call yourself a Tifosi? Bragging about how Ferrari got beaten by McLaren yet again.

:hehe: !

Well ofcourse if he considers Massas quali and race performances

Based on fastest not average mate. :)

But we have also to take into account the drivers, not only the cars.

I'm slightly surprised as well, still it was the race pace that was their main point, and quali is generally the most important because its so damn hard to overtake. And the Ferrari were more reliable, I guess second fastest car doesn't naturally translate into second best car.

What about them Jack?

Alonso and Hamilton provide a comparable picture, no?

I mean the cars don’t go alone. Which drivers with what car were fastest any time? Do you understand me?
#228511
Well, it'd be whichever driver posted the fastest time in quali and the race for Ferrari, Mclaren and Redbull respectively.

Actually, errr I'm not sure I'm understanding you.

I mean that if they have the numbers they also have the names of the drivers that drove faster at every qualy and race. I believe, it would be interesting to know it, not only the final result.

Hasnt it already been posted? fastest laps were drawn by hamilton and Alonso and on countbacks to second fastest laps Alonso won. Im not sure what point you're trying to make here??

If they take the best McLaren and Ferrari times, for example, I would like to have a list with the fastest race – driver – car in qualy and race. Well, I suppose is the way they’ve done it. This way we could see not only the performance of the car but the impact of every driver in the final results of each team.

It's pretty obvious which drivers make a difference over and above the capability of the car.
