Da Bullsss won, and I was root'n fer da Bearsssss!

Well deserved title here, as would have been if it had been Hammy, Fernando or Mark. They all drove their wheels off all season.

119 days until his defence starts but He is a true world champion drove awesome all season long as well as Hamilton, Alonso and Webber they all would of been true champions.
This is by far the best season I have ever watched and I love he new points system it works great. Also with all the crashes, mistakes, engine troubles it has made it one of the best seasons ever. even better than when Hamilton won in 2008.

Vettel definitely deserved it from the way he drove in the second half of the season, when leading from the front he is extremely consistent and dominant.

I think Alonso in general is a worthy champion on talent, and no doubt will be gain in years to come, but I just think in this particular championship had he won it by a small margin there would have always been that question mark and an ongoing debate by his detractors due to the team orders situation earlier in the season. As it is, that argument can now be cast to the bin as irrelevant when the title was decided today.

I'm happy in my mind that all of Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso and Button will be fighting for the title for years to come so may all again get their chance. Indeed when you add to the mix that if Mercedes get their act together we may be able to add Rosberg to that long term mix (with of course potentially Webber and Schumacher for the short term too), I am very happy that the competitive nature of this season will continue for the foreseeable future... roll on 2011... :)

Congratulations Seb!

Oh I feeeel... sooo... terrible... :coffee:

But it wasn't a dream Sebastian Vettel is the youngest ever World Champion - my faith has been rewarded. WUHAHAHAHAHA! WOOOOP! WOOOOOP! WOOOOP!:bouncy1::mexwavebounce:

This is fantastic - I've thought he's been an epic driver ever since I saw him finish 5th after starting on the back row at Monaco in 2008, right before I joined this forum. I thought he had missed a lap. He is fantastic. He is a very fast driver. Look - he made a couple of mistakes this year, but his car failed a few times as well.

A hate campaign from all the media and nearly everyone on this forum, could've shook him. It shook me. But what maturity he had to recover from his multiple mistakes at the Belgium Grand Prix and he is now the second German Driver in history to be World Champion. The first German WDC was involved in an accident which appears to have won it for Vettel. Although there is no doubting that his raw exceptional pace was also a big factor, particularly his exceptional out-lap.

To everyone's surprise, I will be supporting him again next season... And I expect him to once again be in contention for the championship, just like the past 2 years.

Tonight I'm doing something I'd thought I'd never do in my life: I'm going to a bar to celebrate and drink Red Bull and Vodka.

Congrats to Vettel. His emotion on the radio and on the podium after the race was amazing. I think he has many more ahead of him in his career. Great job Vettel and RedBull for double World Championships.
