Picture this scenario:
SV wins Abu Dhabi, FA ends up fifth and MW places second.
All three drivers would end up with 256 points!
SV would win based not on more wins, or second or third places (all tied with FA), but because he has 3 fourth places vs. FA's 2. :yikes:

Slick edit there, DD. 8-)

It'll be edge of the seat stuff, Alonso's and Vettel's engine data engineers will probably pass out.

Will Alonso keep his nerve in quali? What about the start?

Alonso will be a worthy champion (if he wins it that is), you can't take away the obvious driver skill. Also remember, in 08 McLaren used team orders to get Hekki out of Lewis's way.

heikki didnt need getting out of the way.

Vettel will be the World Champion - if not Webber. I cannot see Alonso winning without Vettel's engine blowing up.

Kubica should be strong here, as well as Rosberg, I think the two Red Bull drivers will end up fighting each other.... If Webber can keep up.

The chances of the Red Bulls taking each other out are quite high, but if they take one takes the other out, they may lose that 5 place buffer over Alonso. Webber would be more aggressive than Vettel, as Vettel cannot afford Webber to DNF.

I'm imagining Webber pulling over to the side of the road on the last lap to give Alonso the championship. Either way - this will be Webber's last race for Red Bull. He will leave if he wins, Red Bull will sack him if he doesn't. Buemi will be number 2 driver next year for Red Bull and Vettel's championship will be a lot easier. All in my opinion, of course.

It is going to be an exciting race, but I already know I'll be walking away quite happy next weekend as I'm almost assured that a Red Bull driver will win WDC. I'll be a lot happier if it's Vettel, but I will be satisfied if Webber wins it because I know Vettel would have a hand in it.

If webber's wins this race, he'll win the WDC right?

I believe he's behind alonso by 6 points....

Webber has to win and Alonso be third or below. So Vettel will play a vital role.

My bad....I thought alonso was in front by 6 pts..I just checked the website and his lead is currently 8 pts....

Which won't be so bad. Hopefully you guys can see how genuine Vettel is and we could all turn over a new leaf next season! :)

It would be a nice gesture of him, and would definitely make me like him again :) I was actually rooting for Red Bull as a whole (I liked both Vettel and Webber) until Turkey race.

...

I just thought of the silliest joke ever.

With the calendar growing season after season, why don't we change the last race to Turkey in Christmas week? :D
