He must be feeling very sad because of making new rivals for WDC.Now he will have to try hard for winning Championship. This is actually gonna make races more enjoyable since there are 5 people battling for championship now.He also might feel sad for letting his fans down.

It was just a matter of two inches of room that had to be created by the driver.. he should have been more patient but he could have pulled it off if he only turned the steering wheel a little more to the left... I think it was just an accident, not really a mistake. He could have made it.

Well accidents are caused by mistakes/faults, so if it wasn't Lewis's whose was it?

Even if Hamilton had been further left, he wouldn't have made the pass, and may have lost another position.

hmmmm, im one the biggest Hamilton fans going but i can acept that was not bad luck, it was a mistake, lewis had already been quoted as saying getting front of webber is priority and he did that, he didnt need to push at that chicane considering he had a run on massa coming towards ascari chicane and afeter parabolica, a rookie mistake today that i think has cost him teh title, heres hoping these huge updates Mclaren have for Singapore work

Luckily, after Spa, Ferrari brought a new upgrade to defend against Hoons. The device worked perfectly today in Massa's car... :D

Reckless by Lewis. The guy needs to learn how to back off sometimes...but I guess he's one of the best out there because he always goes for it. Part and parcel of racing. He'll bounce back as he always does.

Asked about Vettel's alleged recklessness, MSC said Vettel is driving to be WDC. To become WDC, you have to take risks. Hamilton took a risk. He has made more than his share of risky moves which he came through unscathed. He can't complain when he occasionally gets caught out. I must say he did take it like a man.

Proof again that you can't win the race in the first corner but you definitely can lose it there.

Lewis will be back!!!, and whether it was his mistake or not, he will always have my full 100% support, and nothing will change that, so i think this is where the true fans show their colours!!!,

COME ON LEWIS YOU CAN STILL DO IT!!! :D

I'm not against overtaking but Hamilton deserved that, he is way too reckless and i was waiting for that to happen.

SHIIT YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our celebrations today began with Hamilton going out at the start. Then we (My friends and I) waited patently for Alonso to get ahead of Button to win the race............................................................................................

Ive forgotten where Alonso is in the championship?
Is he top now?

Webber is top
Fernando is moving up
Lewis is moving down

I don't think any driver deserves to crash out. I was pleasantly surprised to hear Lewis admit his mistake.
But, really, this is now the 3rd time Lewis has hit a car from behind. Accidents can and do happen in F1, but 3 times in less than a season?
As I said elsewhere, Michael was given a 10 grid place penalty for his actions at Hungary, dangerous indeed but he didn't make contact. This being the 3rd time Lewis has done this, and from behind which gives the victim no warning. Perhaps this should be looked into a further.
