Why wouldn't he, think about it. He's coming up to his sell by date, the differential in salaries between Ferrari and Red Bull I suspect is quite big. If you could get a few more million banked in another top flight team he'd be silly to say no

The lure of another world championship is, surely, greater than a higher salary? In addition, Mateschitz isn't exactly poor, he can afford to pay Webber well-enough.

How much money will he pour into Redbull and Co after he has won a WCC? Might he lose the desire to spend once he has reached the top?

I don't think so. Red Bull have been involved in motorsports in one form or another for a long time now, so I can't see Mateschitz suddenly wanting to stop spending. The more glory the better, in my opinion and I'm sure Ecclestone would do his best to keep him spending the money, too. It's great for us fans to see that you don't have to be one of those old teams, like Ferrari, McLaren and Williams, to win races and championships.

Look how much of a lure Ferrari has to F1 drivers. Think how Fisi was like a moth to a Rosso Corsa Red flame.

That was funny, i laughed my arse off @ work. Yer fisi is a weird case, his career has been pretty pointless. I think this is the highlight really

Only Seb & Rk could be there, Mark Webber is not consistent enough? Alonso has made too many mistakes but he has done amazing! and Monaco was the highlight for me. He did just amazing? Now i could not imagine Webber doing that, i could imagine Rk doing that, give SEB a perfect Ferrari and he could do well. Just don't think he could live down a bad Ferrari? So not sure.

He's just won two races in a row how much more consitancy do you want?.

And what did Nando do that was so amazing? he got lucky with the safty car and overtook some back makers then leap frogged everyone at the pits.

Good Stratagy rather than good racing.

Couldn't this also be said for most of Jenson's good results?

Most of his good finishes have come from him pitting before everyone else, swapping tires etc, rather than on the track overtakes

in a word no.

1. Those Stratgy Calls were his calls.
2. He manged his dry tires in china
3. He Manged the Lead.

Alonso was called in by the team not his call i belive, and was as a result of a safty car he didn't do much after that apart from overtake a few back malkers

If Red Bull get a WCC or a WDC they will have the funding. And the lure (maybe not the romantic, legendary/traditional kind of lure). Also, Webber seems happy there, and Horner regards him well. Dont see a reason for him to move, unless he was pushed out... and right now, i don't see a reason to disturb the team's balance.

Tut!
Opportunist? So what about the good overtakes on the straight? So just leave it out Gaz. As i said he is as good as the car, also what about the times when the car was great and he started 3rd? Ended up 7th? Fernando has made too many mistakes but has made a good impact. I just doubt Webber could live up to it, RK could!

Him & Alonso are the same in many ways
