Well people who call F1 "boring" have obviously never seen the England national team play, a yawnfest all round, even the 1999 Spanish GP and most of the 2002 season races were far more exciting than "bore-ngland" tonight. And for the record I don't support the national team as they are a load of useless-soft-overrated-poncy-overpaid-wimps ever.

Well said. I 100% agree with that. There are only a few English football players that I rate and currently NONE of them are in the squad. From what I have seen I think they will struggle to get through the qualifing stage of the competition, and well the Media is going to say it was all because Rooney, Owen or what ever player is flavour of the month wasn't playing his best.

When England got put out the World Cup the media said it was because Rooney wasn't fit after he was out injured for 6 weeks with his metatarsal. Come on people Rooney is not the team. There are other players as well that are in the team. There is no I in team.

I just don't understand why they are so poor. When playing for club these players are amazing, some of the best in the world. But playing for country they are dire! There seems no spirit or fight in them, if I'd ever been good enough to make international level then I'd give nothing less than 100%, it's an honour and a privilege!!

Soccer is a boring game, any game where there is a nil all tie is a bore fest!

Its not just about the score, its the talent, the skill and the tactics involved. Sounds like an American-style view there where you can't leave the game at 0-0. A 3-3 game can be the same as a 0-0, but the ball just didn't find the back of the net. There has been a lot of 0-0 that were just as thrilling than other game.

but hey my mums sides from scotland ive been brought up to follow soccer aswell, rangers fan etc i can watch it but it really is a frustrating game i think thats why the fans always kill each other and sing songs to cure the boredom of nothing happening on the field!

This is just getting F****NG RIDICULOUS!! How the hell to referees constantly get away with incompetent performances? How many times did our players get floored today and they get away with it! Anelka handled the ball in the lead up to Bolton's goal as well!! The FA are a corrupt bunch of uneducated blockheads as Nelson Piquet would probably say. I actually wouldn't be too sad to be back in the Championship, because there's PROPER football there, not the stupid prima-donnas-you-are-not-allowed-to-win-against teams the FA love.

Britain defined - United Kingdom of Scotland England Wales and Northern Ireland so ya Rangers are British if you want to get technical Celtic technically are too even though their fans chant IRA and all that rubbish

Actually both teams cannot chant sectarian songs anymore 'cause their teams get a hefty fine or/and points deducted.....but they still do it anyway.

How are Rangers doing btw??
