He didnt say he is "supporting" Mclaren? he said he was proud of his countrymen winning...
They had good races, nothing to not be 'proud' about, except maybe Lewis in the sporting side of things...

As for me, I dont like Lewis... I dont respect him as a sportsman. And It has nothing to do with him being in Mclaren.

Ah... but if its the law. Then ok.

You think so? I seriously doubt it. But it could happen. People can change, and improve... until then :nono:

and he's a reckless driver. Doing donuts and such on parkin lots :) j/k i dont mind that.

Not his personality exactly. His lack of sportsmanship; arrogance and plain proneness to silly mistakes out of not being able to contain himself. Rather childish i think. But like i said, he could improve.

Hamilton's not coming to Ferrari is he?

Depends how much longer Button beats him for :hehe:

Before anyone starts: I AM BEING FACETIOUS. THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR A BUTTON/HAMILTON ARGUMENT. They are the two of the three best drivers on the grid, leave it at that.

I think he was very sporting to button yesterday.

Yeh he makes mistakes but so does every driver, but i think your confusing not being able to contain himself with never give up atttutide.

I'd rather him be like that than just give up, look at China he was going for button right to the last lap it could of ended in disaster but it made it exciting and nailbiting.

Sporting to Button? well, after the stupid Australia little episose/ big lesson learned... its the least he could have done!!

Did you hear what they had to tell him on the radio: Lewis, BE CAREFUL
:) i bet they were thinking on writing it on his pit board... :hehe: that was funny.

Now i am British, I must admit that this weekend i was proud to be British. We did amazing and we have built a great car...i feel JB made the right call and really is proving his worth for the 2009 WDC. & this season i think he really is the biggest challenge and really is proving his worth for the 2010 grid and his number 1 spot. I can't fault him and feel Hamilton really is doing awesome too. So beside me loving the Tifosi I really am proud of McLaren!!

So i have slipped my McLaren shirt on for the whole day

A commendable effort of your part VB :) .

There was a BBC interview about that rant of his, he said he's a passionate driver and he'd do it again he was wrong but he'd do it again.

I understand it, it was a heat of the moment thing what you gonna do?

 I find it bizarre that people confuse passion with unsporting behaviour. lewis is not unsporting and not arrogant, just supremely confident in his abilities and not prepared to give up.

f1ea-I imagine EVERY driver who was out there in rain on worn tyres was being told to BE CAREFUL. You dont think we gt to hear all the onboard commentaries do you? We hear a tiny fraction.
