Ah ok I was just curious as to how it compares to the BlackBerry 'Tour' addition which has GPS tracking allowing dispatch to track and route officers to locations.

ive got a htc desire, wont be going back to an iphone OS again

Hi m8, sorry to hijack thread but just need to know something about those HTC phones. Do they have an app store like iphones? one thing i love about the iphone is the numerous games and apps you can download. But i do had the lack of flash so have been thinking about getting something like the HTC. Cheers

it does but it isnt extensive, but ive heard alot of developers are switching to android because it doesnt have the same tight controls as apple,

also it is a younger OS than apples so it will take time,

but yes it does have an app store and i wont be oing back to apple ever, the handsets are cheaper and better

iphone 3g/s will be able to run android soon.

..and the 4g will proberly suprass the newer HTC/Android devices.

Saying "i'm never getting that again" might be a little premature.

no, i wouldnt get another iphone, its the feeling like youre breaking the law if you want to do anything that apple wouldnt want you doing, and the removable battery, with these new phones running at 1GHz my desire doesnt last 2 days with the bright bright screen, and all batterys fail to hold the charge after enough cycles, i dont really want anything more powerful without more battery power

besides, android models will always be better value than iphone my desire is a 25£ amonth and handset free

also i wouldnt want to pay that premium for a to then port android, also i HATE itunes on the PC

there will always be something better comming,

HTCs new model looks amazing

who gives a crap what apple want, i bought the device i'm gonna do what i want to it.

i just think its the best all round device i mean HTC has ONLY - JUST got a decent satnav

TomTom has been out on Iphone for ages, software makes the device more than the hardware.

i know the app store on apple is much better, but the OS i dont like, android hasnt got up to full speed yet on that but i think it will, its completely customisable and thats why i like it, and adobe have abandoned apple as well
