LOL the second time he has been stopped by police. He was also stopped in France and actually banned for a few months I think. I really don't care as long as he can race.

Maybe not, then you will Gary Paffett out there

The bbc has reported on this, so I think its accurate.

Seriously, what a douche.

Lewis Hamilton has apologised after his Mercedes road car was impounded by Melbourne police on Thursday evening.

it doesn't say he's been arrested though, don't know what the procedure is. I guess it doesn't warrant keeping him locked up for Saturday.

"The vehicle, a 2010 Mercedes, was impounded for 48 hours and the driver returned to his hotel."

In 2007, Hamilton's car was impounded in France after he was caught speeding by police.

Get real,it's overblown by pathetic policemen who want their moment of fame.

He wheel span out of Albert Park, lol big freaking deal.

Police constable Scott Woodford said Hamilton's rear wheels were skidding as he accelerated out of Albert Park, where Sunday's race is being staged. :yikes:

You really think that Mark Webber would of been arrested, not.

No doubt this thread will run for weeks .

There was the sound of stubble in the tip off call but it was an English accent.

Jenson: Hey lewis, bet you can't write your name in the car park.
