If Force India get a good place on the grid, I can see them challenging for points. Michael Schumacher out-scored by a team that he trounced in the 2005 US GP!

With "Mr Crash Magnet Sutil" heading into the infamous first three corners? Don't think so

Webber had a number of technical problems in practice on Friday and therefore had limited running.
The in qualifying he made a mistake.

No. he was still off the pace....

Again that isn't true. Although he may have been off the pace, there are reasons as to why. Plus he was stuck behind slower cars for the entire race.

If he was that much quicker he would have had passing opportunities, there was plenty going on in the lower half of the grid. Like everybody at the front he stayed in line and looked after his tyres, he didn't appear to have the speed to do otherwise.

He was saving his tires for Melbourne!

Not his fault last race, Webber blew a load of smoke around, seriously the fia have cocked up letting that go. Now if a team starts doing it often it'll be a sodding farce. Not to mention if drivers now go 1 metre ahead of their grid boxes.

What about the other 15,882 incidents he's had in F1 then? :hehe: Sutil is a bit of a liability.

:(

I know, I really don't know how Sutil manages to do this - he's a fast qualifying then goes out in the race if he starts from a point scoring position. At least Luzzi(sp) can bring the points home.

I thought with Kimi gone Sutil might've had a chance.

Not true Lewis had a second per a lap advantage to Rosberg and still couldn't overtake it's just really hard to overtake and Lewis had a massive straight line speed advantage also Jenson drove a good race didn't make any mistakes.

Liuzzi seems away with the fairies, I wouldn't pin the team's hopes on him either. They'd be best served giving di Resta a run out before they run out of parts.

A second a lap out of a hundred a twenty. That isn't as significant as it initially sounds.

If the midfield teams can pull off some maneuvers, a leading driver in a signifcantly faster car is capable of pulling it off. Difference is the also rans have nothing to lose, so aren't being overly cautious on their tyres.

But he's a good driver admittingly, he's been cheated out of 2 point scoring positions against Raikkonen!

My prediction for Melbourne 2010, rain for qualifying but partly sunny for race day. :wavey:

I actually wouldn't mind that. Jaime does well in rain.
P1: Massa
P2: Vettel
P3: Alonso
P4: Schumacer
P5: Hamilton
P6: Button
P7: Webber
P8: Rosberg
P9: Sutil
P10: Kubica

Overall, I don't disagree, but no Williams? Just asking because they are a popular team.

A first corner crash amongst the front runners is my prediction.

After the last race the pressure not to get passed and also to pass will be massive. I think the odds for an early crash between the front runners is higher than usual.

Doubt Massa will out do Alonso in the first stages on the season....
