I doubt Sauber would let BMW buy in to the team again. The whole reason he sold the team was to guarantee the future of his employees and he got stung by BMW pulling out. As a result, he's had to go through the uncertain stage where Qadbak were going to buy the team, then didn't, and then had to use his own money to buy the team back but lay off as much as 60% of his staff (depending on which report you read) in order to keep it alive.
But didn't BMW decided to do the right thing and sold it back to Peter at a bargain basement deal? instead of somebody else.
Its unprofessional to have BMW still in the name. Can they not get it changed or is there some silly fee to have the BMW part of the name removed.

Neither, but they might lose income from TV revenue and other such benefits from Bernie if they change now, so it isn't worth it consideirng they only appear to have one sponsor so far.

With the name the way it is I can only see it preventing sponsors when they inquiry with the team.
"Why you got BMW in the name?"
"Ermmm.... They bailed on us last year and now we have a ferrari engine in the car but haven't removed BMW from our name since it will cost us money. Lets do business!"

BMW Sauber to retain name for now
By Jonathan Noble and Pablo Elizalde Sunday, January 31st 2010, 14:32 GMT
BMW Sauber is not planning to change the team's name at least before the start of the season, Peter Sauber said on Sunday.
Although BMW quit Formula 1 at the end of the 2009 season, the Hinwil-based squad has retained the BMW Sauber moniker so far.
Sauber said during the launch of the team's new car at Valencia that there were no plans to change the name yet because of television money and Concorde Agreement-related issues.
"It is not planned before the start of the season," he said. "We entered the 2010 season as BMW Sauber and this is the name."
When asked if Ferrari, who will supply engines to the team this year, was unhappy at the BMW name, he said: "No. It is okay for most."
you could also argue why did BMW keep the Sauber part of the name?
or perhaps BMW are going to bring out a Ferrari Powered M6.
that would be an awsome car, Ferrari engine but none of the other Italian shocky electricals etc..German Precision.
