I don't mean to put a downer on things, cos I love Williams, but...Have we forgotten the last time they tried to pull the innovation card?

Well considering their current winless streak, I think Williams would be willing to try anything to get back on top.

You forget that car was the last Williams car to win a race.........
The FW31 was a great car anyway, I have total confidence in them!
If Nakajima had been replaced the team would have been much better. Nakajima was the worst driver of 2009.

well I want to see Rubens be a top contender. I never was a big Rubens fan until the 09 season, he is just such a humble and deserving guy. Go Rubens!

The point still stands - I direct you to this:
But the car never was good with the walrus nose until they god rid of it

True, everyone has tried some weird things with noses before, Ferrari with their 'steps', Hondas 'dumbo ears', Red Bulls appendages this year (which worked). Some work, some don't....

Back in the day when Lotus were good at making mechanical changes, I bet everyone was laughing at them, till they realised it worked... you win some you lose some, the walrus is growing on me now mind, i quite like the look of it now.

I didn't get that...

Don't forget the BMW's twin towers, and several years ago there was that nun's hat some teams ran.
Heck, there was a time that running a rear wing was innovative. Was it Lotus that attached the rear wing to the rear wheels instead of the body?
