he's been saying somthing along those lines since he signed up for Mclaren.

Like he's trying to convience himself more than everyone else..

Could be that, or it could be that the press keep asking about it because (Believe it or not) they don't care that it's been asked before THEY didn't ask yet - and of course it's all anybody wants to hear anyway.

The Irish get it too to be fair, i remeber Irvine getting some headline about "Eddie could soon be the newest British world champion"

then after "northern irish driver Eddie Irvine missed out on the championship to Fin Mika Hakkien"

I'm Half Irish so it was funny watching that side of my Familys reaction.

But on a serious not there was abit of sectarianism because of mix ups with flags on podiums.
