At some point someone needs to take him aside and tell him his ideas are ridiculous... like before he releases this stuff to the public and makes a fool of himself. Surely someone in his family cares for him at least that much.

Now that's just being daft, no, you have to drive over the coloured square on the track when it's lit up to open the shortcut. Other coloured squares let you use the KERS speed boost.

If we are going to go the shortcut route, we would be better off just going all out, Death Race style. We could bring in Vin Diesel and Tyrese, it would be amazing.

SIMILAR to my idea yes, but therin lies an oceon of difference. My idea was not a shotcut, for it to work they had to be as exactly the same to drive through as possible.

But the guy's getting old, he must have misunderstood the idea. damn!

Also, the cars should shoot projectiles at eachother, drop oilslicks, pick up speed boosts (Wait that already happened), go over jumps and get little mini-turbos when they powerslide.
