Well i think Button is better than Massa.

Alonso and Lewis are pretty equal..

Schui was very good but he's a unknown but Alonso did beat him fair and square in 06 and he's been out of it for 3 years now.

And Rosberg is the worst of the 6 of them

So i'd Say

Mclaren
Ferrari
Mercades

So Red Bull doesn't factor in your view?

Pretty crazy considering that they could easily have the best car (best designer and best car to base the 2010 car on!) - my tip for the title actually.

If massa regains his form and ability that he showed at the start of 09, and alonso is comfortable in the car and picks up his championship winning self then ferrari.

The only team you wouldn't really be able to put any major "ifs" on is redbull.

oops good point missed red bull there.

Well Vettle and Mark i reckon will be relatively equal next year, but again i think Alonso/Hamilton are better than them Both overall.

As for Button/Massa compared with Webber and Vettle i think there about equal.

so..

Mclaren
Ferrari
Redbull
Mercades

USF1's drivers look like the real dynamic duo of the 2010 teams.

McLaren's lineup is the strongest by virtue of having two good and complimentary drivers.

Ferrari's is a close second. Alonso is every bit as good as Hamilton or Button, in some ways better. But he's paired with the mediocre Massa.

Third is Red Bull with two solid drivers

Fourth goes to Mercedes and Williams (It's a tie). Williams has a smart pairing. Mercedes would have beaten them into fifth if it weren't for the factt hat, as good as Schui is, most of his talent will be wasted making up for how decided middle-of-the-road Rosberg is.

I dunno about Williams, Rubens is good and all but he's not as good as button on average.

But Hulkenberg is abit of a unknown he was great in GP2 but so was Piquet and Hekki.

Sure, but the rest of the pairings on the grid are bigger risks than Rubens & a rookie (Or haven't been announced)

Well if Nick go to Sauber with Kobi then i'd put them above Williams.

But that hasn't happened yet, so I couldn't very well do that, now could I?

you might want to rephrase that.

I'm just saying what i think, not taking a shot at you.

Its all VERY close.... but had it been Kimi and Alonso, there would be no debate... and since Massa improved considerably and actually beat Kimi:

#1 Alonso and Massa. I think they make the strongest pair. As long as Ferrari is able to manage their egos and the possibility is there for both to perform at their best (ie no #1 driver) then they should be the most exciting match up. They are mature and experienced enough to handle the situation and push eachother hard, also they've shown they can adapt and improve the car...

#2 Mclaren. For some reason, having the last 2 champions doesnt quite make it all. One thing is certain, Mclaren definitely improved from last yr's lineup. Lewis has more experience and the atmosphere should be tense/motivational enough for both the drivers and the team to deliver their best without much rumble.

#3 Red Bull. I think they were the best last yr and also had the best legal car. They were very close, had lots of 1-2 finishes...... they could be higher up, but Vettel is still gaining experience and it still remains to be seen if Webber can keep up with him.

#4 is Shumacher and Rosberg mainly because right now all they have is potential and wishful thinking. Schumacher has the experience necessary to keep Mercedes motivated and at the top of the developing side of things, but will he be able to outperform Alonso, Lewis and Vettel?? will Rosberg make the jump from potential to a serious contender... will he be allowed?? let's see.

That said... i bet i will be proved wrong :hehe:

I am gonna say Vettel and Webber although I am a Macca fan, only because this paring have one season under them. The rest are Honeymooners. We don't really know how they are going to get on until things start going. Remember Hammy and Alonso pre-season, making commercials and all happy go lucky, and how that eventually turned out?

Are we talking about as team drivers or as individuals?
As individuals, I voted for Alonso and Massa but i have to admit, that Lewis and Jenson might be even better

I was looking at it from the point of view which pair will complement each other and not cause a rift. There are alot of variables such as team support.

The scariest pairing is Alonso and Massa. Massa has the team behind him and I would assume be favored. Alonso, although given strict orders to be a team player, is.. volatile. I may be wrong but his behavior in the past leads me to believe if he doesn't get his way, then someone will pay. The goo never sticks to him, but somehow he is always surrounded by it. Alonso is most likely the best driver in the field (arguably). I believe he can outdrive Massa. However, if team politics and distractions occur, I see a 2007 repeat..
