How was Hamilton 3rd?

Should have been

Button
Vettel
Webber
Rubens
Kimi
Rosberg
THEN Hamilton

RRRRUBISH!! Sorry, no disrespect intended there...but it just is.

edit: But you're right how could they put him 3rd, he was 1st!!

Nope, he was fifth with 49 pts. :P

I know that :D

As much as I like to disagree, like Sebastien Vettel said after the Abu Dhabi race, regarding a comment made by Flavio:

"...as I said before ‘should’, ‘could’ and ‘would’ don’t matter in sports, only results."

Although many on this forum do not agree - including myself sometimes - this is reality. Button was better, and his results speak for themselves.

All in all I mostly agree with it, Hamilton should be 3rd, with Webber, Raikkonen, and Barichello battling for 4th.

It is also interesting how he is always comparing motorsport with soccer. Perhaps after 3 WDCs he might play for Bayern Munich or Schalke? :D:cloud9:

I completely agree with you.

No way Rosberg had a better year than Hamilton. Lewis was definately top 3 for the year, i mean for example he had the same amount of wins as Webber yet most of the year his car wasnt capable of winning. Webbers was most of the year.

While I did say results speak for themselves, I'm concentrating on race wins.

Hamilton had the same amount as Barichello and Webber. And in a worse car. So that's why he's 3rd in my opinion. :)

I'll be Oz's friend.

But I agree with rusko this stuff is getting boring now.

yeah!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Hamilton had a good car from the 2nd half of the year. The first part wasn't a great car but you'd still exept something better from the world champion. The Top 5 isn't really debatable (Buttons, Vettel, Webber, Rubens, Kimi). Rosberg had a shocking car and team all throughout the year and he did well most races (he got a bucket load of point finishes)

Yeah i agree like 3rd in Oz and 4th in Bahrain...

When Hekki could only mange 11th in Bahrain.

it wasn't a great car all year if you look at Hekki he was just able to get the most out of it.

Shocking car? I don't think so. It was solid, had good aerodynamics unlike its most recent predecessors, but suffered from the feeble Toyslowta engine, Nakajima's ineptitude and the fact Rosberg was quite a liability himself on quite a few occasions.

Yeh for sure, if you gave that car to Alonso, Kimi or Hamilton it would of won races (at the start of the year at least)

Really? I recalled that Hamilton/McLaren got disqualifed for lieing to the stewards? :nono:

:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Why do people keep mentioning that???

He finished 3rd. He was classified last.

He was still able to drive that car to 3rd place, despite how crap it was. Surely the best driver is based on their actual talent, and not their classification. (But then Vettel should be first.)
