I get sickly feeling that Renault will drop out. After Glock seemed to pull away from the team, I've had my suspicions. I can only hope I'm wrong.

me too, :(

It would be a shame not to have them in any capacity.

yeah it would finish it for me :/ ive grown up with the manufacturers era

so you'd stop watching F1?

If Mclaren left i'd have to find another team to support, i like the sport in general to much to stop watching it.

yeah i think so, especially as it is now..

if it was entertaining id still watch it, but too many races are boring to watch and i still feel next year would be worse, besides, theres no team i feel any links to after renault and toyota

anyway - you can't pin the engine problem on todt, has he said or indicated he wants standardised engines?

Todt is Mosley's puppet. Mosley wanted standardised engines. 2+2 rarely fails to equal 4

who is to say the SF engine does not become the standard motor?

Indeedy. Doesn't really matter whose engine it is, I don't want standard engines in F1 any more than I want standard cars.

I'm not bashing Ferrari by the way i'm saying Toad won't do that because it will up it will upset Ferrari so i'm bashing Toad.

just to clear that up..

Why would he care? He owes them nothing. His loyalty lies with Mosley, always has.

I am not sure I understand how that works. what differerence does it make if a car has Toyota or Compos written on the side to how good the sport is.

Unless it is the thought that a Renault Clio is almost and F1 car when it is being chased by a Toyota Yaris.

It has been on the cards since race-fix-gate really, I believe that Renault had plans to sell the team to Flavio Briatore; then came the race fixing scandal and Briatore got banned from attending FIA sanctioned events which puts the kibosh on the plans to sell the team to Briatore, of course this is pure speculation!

Standard Ferrari and Cosworth engines... do I hear the 1970's calling? I'd better get some flares on and learn how to dance like John Travolta.

Yup, and it wasn't too bad (not the Travolta bit, the F1 situation :P ) 8-)

that would tie up with the "we will tell you by yhe end of the year" story... asI would of imagined that that is when they thought the Flavio appeal would of happened.

I wondered the same thing at the time.

I think Renault will sell shares in their team but I still expect the team to be in F1 next year and to remain the major share holder of the enstone based team.

i heard that renault are talking to Kobiashyi why would they be doing that, if they are leaving..

its a postive sign anyway.

Ya, would be a good line up for them

because toyota are associated with car manufacture, [besides i have one] and i support renault because it was the first car i knew was a car when i was young lol

the campos name/owners mean nothing to me so i feel no attachment
