Yup I didn't vote either. I realise the glamour is part of the product and the business, however I think it looks terribly tacky. Even Abu Dhabi with it's Ferrari Dome.

All you need to see is the track as nothing else matter's.

Then I think we are going to have some problems.

Please elaborate?

Because the track layout sucks crow.

Yeah it's not the best. They need to stop building circuits like that on wastelands. Circuits should be built around natural obstacles.

That is ONLY your opinion but I respect it. I do agree with your insight EwmanM but that area is as flat as flat can be, not every track can have elevation changes without incurring substantial cost. I like the track for what it is but do I think it could use some improvement's ie the elevation changes yes. It's the first race at this track and thing's could change overtime.

It's not the best track layout, but it's far from the worst too. That high=speed straight is something special... :)

Wow a long line.

EDIT: Mind you Tilke likes straight edges and lines. :hehe:

I won't be voting, as I think all three of these venues are substandard. If I wanted to see multi-coloured lightening, I'd go to a casino.

I agree, there should be a "none of the above" option. Abu Dhabi is like Bahrain but with a lot of needless sh!t. That track is the biggest waste of money imo.

I have to say, i think the Yas Marina circuit itself is very good, there seems to be a certain flow to it - even the final section. And there's no doubting that it's the most spectacular, although i hate the way Bernie and co are seemingly placing the priority on that aspect of modern F1 tracks. :beans:

I absolutely detest Valencia so that isn't getting my vote.

Both Singapore and Yas Marina look great, I think I have a slight preference for Singapore in that department. However, Yas Marina was a bit more interesting race wise, therefore that gets my vote.

Yas Marina is a fantastic track. Especially when it gets dark. I love F1 under the floodlights. Certainly the best of the new tracks. Valencia doesn't deserve a place on the grid. The only good thing about that track is sector 3.
