At least Felipe has the guts and strength of character to say what he thinks, and its obvious to anyone who has an ounce of understanding about F1 that Alonso would have been fully briefed because he would have questioned the strategy he was being given for the race. The driver has to know what fuel and tyres he is on before the start and the strategy set for the race. No other team opted for anything close to that, either last year or this. I think that speaks volumes.

I repeat my previous prediction that Ferrari will have trouble with poor morale in 2010..

I'm surprised Massa has come out with this now,yes I understand he is still angry at losing the tilte last year, but he has to put it behind him. This injury has given him too much time on his hands to dwell on things.

Well the infighting looks like it might begin early at Ferrari, although i'm sure it wont be the only team with it next season.

As for the fixing I would be amazed if Alonso didn't know anything about it,although if I was Massa I dont think I would be mentioning it.Like said earlier he would of questioned the amount of fuel in the car for a start.

in Alonso's defence and I think also the reason that he has been accepted to have no (prior) knowledge of the issue was a radio call telling him to come in to pit early. wasnt all this crap discussed somewhere already ???

Massa was probably "put" into the possition of stating his opinion on the crash scnadal...
i dont think it was Massa calling for a press conference to state his opinion... he just said (after being asked) what he thinks.

And i bet he is pretty angry at the whole thing. What's wrong with that? After all, it was THE crucial turn in his championship run.

I actually don't think Massa truly means these comments about Alonso, he's just kicking off the mind games...

There's always a language issue to contend with and I commend the man for saying what he thinks, in contrast to the drab world of scripted sports interviews. But he does appear to be living in cukoo land regardless.

I don't judge anyone on anything I haven't seen them say or do. That's why I used "appear" in the final sentence.

Ah, Saffies and their grasp of English eh? :hehe:

He's trying to put himself in a better position than Alonso psychologically.

One's paranoid about the past and the other's just getting on with his racing. Tell me who's better placed...
