did the existing teams get the $48 million bond back?

there is nothing stopping the new teams running with the budget cap! (ok they will not be at the front of the grid for a bit, but then again people like Minardi, Arrows etc made a living from running at the back and some good engineering)

Fota is the cause of course.
The budget cut would have given the new teams an incentive, because they stood a chance of competing fairly.
This is not the case now with the Fota money spenders ruling the roost.
Perhaps Max was right after all?

Yup and yup. :hehe:

We have come full circle; I was saying this when the whole BS FOTA vs The FIA battle was still going on and no-one agreed with me!

I can see Bernie's reasoning behind his "teams selling for profit" comments with the bond waved after the goal posts have been moved after team entries were submitted. The teams that made into the official entry list may be looking to recoup their preliminary development costs. However Bernie is talking out of arse about the medals system; AGAIN!

I agreed with you. I was one of the most vocal Anti-Fota parties on here. Maybe not vocal enough :P

OK; I'll rephrase; most people disagreed with me; and what's this; a Scotsman agreeing with an Englishman!:P:hehe:

Hey we're all Brits here. :hehe:

I respectfully disagree
