They forgot that music today sucks arse too.

It would go something like this.

1974- Led Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley and the Wailers,The Rolling Stones, Ted Nugent, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many many more kickass bands.

2009- Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and other retarded pop bullcrap they call 'music.'

Yea the music of today does seem to be quite sucky compared to stuff from the 70`s etc, I mean we still listen to 70`s stuff today 30-40 years on, will we still be listening to the Spice Girls and the rest of those crap bands we have had in another 30-40 years time, I think not :nono:

i reckon music today is the best it's ever been. There's loads of rubbish but there's just as much good stuff plus we don't have to rely on the light programme to supply us with it, we can go and get it wherever we want. Plus we still have all the great old stuff, it hasn't gone anywhere. I love modern bands like Sigur Ros and Arcade fire that i couldn't have listened to in 1974. Plus, i can now listen to loads of black, American blues artists on the radio because radio stations are no longer run by racist throwbacks

I'm not very keen on today's music, most of it sounds the same. The only band from today I remotely like is Muse. I prefer music from the 80's and early 90's, brings back memories of childhood.

What we need is a band

well i prefer older stuff too but i'd rather listen to it now than when it was contemporary. chances are i wouldn't have been able to get hold of half of it back then and i always find with current music, in whatever era, there's always a social stigma attached to whatever you listen to. I like the idea of waiting 10 years after the music comes out before listening to it and then you can decide whether or not you like it without worrying about whether its cool or not
