I believe Felipe should not have any special treatment even though he suffered the freak accident.
Alguersuari didn`t test, Schumi wasn`t allowed to test F60, so...Friday Practice should be enough to see if he is not fit enough.

The testing banning is definately boring for the November-December campaign, but nothing we can do.

But first, let`s see if he comes back this season at all.

According to them, yes.

He can test with the clienti cars, sure. But what if it was a non-Ferrari driver?

Then said driver could pay the $1 Million and do the same

Can he even test that way if he is listed as a current Formula 1 driver? Schumi did not have his renewed super license while testing with Cliente I believe. Once FOM put you on the roster, are you elimintated from testing? I mean, whats to stop someone testing this years car next year. All the other teams have older cars that they can whip out too..

If he returns this season will he get special treatment, as surely he will have to prove he can drive after the injures he suffered. 3 months or so out is a long time i think he should be allowed

Well all love Massa and i think after what has happened i doubt any one will say 'No' to Massa testing!!

Why should he get any special treatment??? The other teams said no to Schumacher so why would they treat Massa any differently? some one early said 'rules are rules' and i agree!!

It was me that said it and i firmly believe i was right in saying so, rules are rules and there arent any clauses in the rules which state drivers get to test to prove they are fit after an accident, so dont see why they should be bent or broken in this case, i think VB might have had his "rose tinted" specs on when he posted lol :D

Ferrari tinted glasses, more like.... lol

Thats what i was saying in a less round about kind of way, roses = red lol :hehe:

Rules are rules. Either way if Massa was allowed or wasnt I'd understand the decision. But I think the other teams should consider what they would want if they were in the same situatuion as Ferrari are with Massa.
