i think Torro Rosso are pathetic!

Right on brother. I think they make the entrance to F1 too simple

no to the fact they dont make it simple. they dont back their drivers at all! the problem with the Redbull driver program is you have to watch your back more than any other team! and Torro Rosso have shown in the past ie Scott Speed that they dont back their drivers and if anything force them into driving poorly! give them some confidence ffs!

Or Luizzi? he's now in Force India? Or Klien? He was good! he is now a test driver...

I think if you don't shine in 5 races your gone.

Jaime Alguersuari today indicated that Sebastien Bourdais has in fact been ousted from his race seat at Toro Rosso Ferrari.

The 19-year-old Spaniard is the favourite to replace Bourdais, whose immediate exit from the Red Bull-owned team is expected to be confirmed tomorrow.

"He is 30, he has a daughter, has won four championships in the American Champ Cars, won the F3000 here in Europe and, honestly, is a highly trained driver,” Alguersuari told Radio Catalunya. “But it seems that this year he has not given it everything, as he should have.

"I truly believe that the decision by Red Bull is just, but it is never nice to see someone taken away after half a season," Alguersuari added.

Should Alguersuari make his debut as expected in Hungary in two weeks, the 2008 British F3 champion would become the youngest ever Formula One race driver.

Toro Rosso have lost their way since Berger left. They really should have taken on Senna, do they have something against him or something? Good luck to Algy (as I shall now refer him to as) but he can look forward to starting 20th at Hungary.

This is a great point. STR is a horrible team, not just the obvious (performance wise) but seemingly behind the scenes as well. Who would want to drive for a team that makes a habit of blaming drivers for the cars faulty quality and sacking them while obviously favoring certain drivers even though the performance are similar? I love every article regarding the Bourdais situation mentions how Bourdais has been overshadowed by Buemi! :bs: Buemi's shadow is that of a small coin lying on the street (to say it is quite small). Alonso overshadows Piquet, thats being overshadowed, the difference between Buemi and Bourdais are negligible not to mention Bourdais is the only one on the team to score a point in the last 6 races. Bourdais average start position of 17th is only slightly worse than Buemis at 15.5th while Bourdais average finishing position of 14th is slightly better than Buemis 15th. Whats the difference here, really?

Yeah they are very well matched to be honest.
Let Bourdais go back to America and kick bottom and go back to being an amazing racer.

Is that where he'll spin off at on his first lap in First Practice? :hehe:

Toro Rosso seem to have a habit of falling out with their drivers over dis-agreements and personal grudges, and the fact Franz Tost "simply doesn't like them" - which appeared to be the case for Liuzzi and Speed. Paul Stoddart would be disgusted with this considering the team was Minardi and he was the boss before Red Bull bought them out.

STR is basically a testing ground for the Red Bull team, drivers that have done well e.g. Vettel have been promoted to the Red Bull A Team and the drivers that haven't done well have been ditched. Does anyone know any more about the sale of STR? I know they have to be sold by the end of this year; anyone know any news of possible buyers etc?

I wonder if Stoddy will be keeping his eyes on the FIA presidency situation if Vatanen steps forward? We know that Stoddy said a while ago that he would love to return to the F1 if Max Mosley was replaced.

Happily have him back.

What a stupid decision on STR's part. They get rid of a driver who already knows the team, for a young inexperienced kid (has he even driven an F1 car yet?) halfway through the season. Man I hate these drivers that get in just because of their money, over their talent.
